I like the use of practical effects in this movie. Tommy literally breaking a goon's arm into a limp noodle, Sonny Landham getting his finger shot off, Kane Hodder himself getting his hand stabbed through a door, and Brakus's face getting kicked so hard it flops like blubber. I love the 90s.
Not only that almost every move by Eric Robert's is a body double that requires martial arts finesse. One of the most obvious is towards the end when Eric Roberts takes a punch and turns it into a spinning back kick and it's a different guy. I never noticed this on VHS but with high definition it changed the game 😅
James's death was so sad...he was a drunk and rogue but he had a good heart ....and was one of only 3 men in the world who could teach you how to beat Brakus
Great movie. The first best of the best inspired me to get into karate...by 1995 I was 20 years old... I received my black belt in shotokan karate 👍🏻💯🙏🏻 I didn't expect to see, at the time, dae han in the movie helping them. I remember getting chills seeing the the old school martial artists helping them...lol..👍🏻💯 awesome movie.
Two of my favorites. They both have good morals in them. BoB1, Such as saving a life in defeat.... I am sorry for the loss of your brother. I offer myself in his place. At the medal ceremony surrendering the medal he won to Rhee. and BoB2, I would not quit in the sweat box.
It should've been written to where Dae Han finds a way into the Arena and he and Tommy both kill Brakus together! That would've been a good ending too.
Nicolas Worth he was in No Way Out Naked Gun Action Jackson and Heartbreak Ridge also appeared on 6 million dollar man and Starsky and Hutch also Hunter his famous role was the 1980 horror film 🎥 Don't Answer the phone
Of course, I don't know the circumstances around why the gunmen came into the house, but one messed up in two places: One, he just simply should have killed Tommy instead of telling him to stand up. Two, he was in too close proximity to help him. While I will always love you the martial arts and was once an avid practicer, a gun should never be that close. He should always, always be at least outside of kicking range.
The gunmen came to the house to kidnap Tommy so that he could fight Bracus in the arena. They were basically there to kidnap him but clearly under specific orders not to hurt him in particular.
The Drunk Native American guy goes up against automatic weapons with a lever action rifle…gets all shot up & still manages to kill a guy _(who’s wielding a Submachine Gun)_ with what looks to be a KA-BAR USMC _Fighting Knife_ that’s a lot badder ass than a steroid-enhanced monster who beats a fat-fuck former Karate Champion to death using every dirty fighting move in the manual (he starts off punching him right off the end of his nose which makes his eyes tear up, inhibiting his vision, then he continues to hit him in the head which would naturally continue his dazed state…
I'm pretty sure the ending fight from the first movie, where Dae Han was just standing there limp against Tommy, is where Mortal Kombat got the idea for "Finish Him".

Loved Dae Han returning to help Alex and Tommy.
I wish Sonny or Virgil would have came back too.
That was the best part. Debt of honor.
Absolute best aspect 💯.
After tommy spared his life in part 1, it's like Tommy and dae han are brothers.
I loved that! DAE Han risk his life helping them in that movie. I love how we infiltrated the casino lol is that kicking ass

@jehad78 Yeah, Eric might have the charisma but I knew he wasn't THAT good of a martial artist 😭
@@sacredf8 I'm just happy he toned down his character Alex here from the first one. This time he's more convincing
I could still watch this movie today and be just as impressed and enjoy it.
Fucking epic how Dae Han sticks to his word after the ending in the first film, then rocks up to help Tommy and Alex like the badass he is.
Wouldn't it have been cool if Virgil or Russo from the first movie would have came back?
Yep! Loved that when I was a kid.
James's death was so sad...he was a drunk and rogue but he had a good heart ....and was one of only 3 men in the world who could teach you how to beat Brakus
I wanna know who the other 2 were!
Wayne Newton and brakus himself

You.. I owe you.. then TOMMY!!! My childhood, this and kickboxer were my absolute favourites
Dae Han showing up is one of my favorite moments in movies.
forgot how freaking brutal this movie was.
Love this movie ! Nostalgic some flicks just stay with you. Always wanted to train under phillip rhee and his bro!

I literally thought of this movie and here I am trinna satisfy myself again 😂
glad you enjoyed ,great fuckin movie
Left out the part where the cowboys asks Dae Hahn where’s he from. And replies … Houston!
It should've been written to where Dae Han finds a way into the Arena and he and Tommy both kill Brakus together! That would've been a good ending too.
I'm waiting for TH-cam to put the full fight scene of brakus and lee someday
2:27 ouch haha
Lol
I came here to see THAT wrist lock.
Sharon Coetzee Shaw.
Hell yeah✊🏽✊🏽✊🏽✊🏽✊🏽
My favourite bit was when Tommy and Alex confront Brakus.
Alex: "Did you kill Travis Brickley!!"
Brakus: "Easily ..."
Great movie tommy mopped the floor with these fools
It’s the funniest movie ever! Never available on fire stick! So frustrating
Always wished Phillip Rhee would’ve done more lead action roles.
I agree, he should have become a huge star.
Alex aka Eric Roberts really is martial arts expert
I always loved that bald guy. "U gottalottabalz!"

Absolutely 100% on the money

i do think they had there eyes on him but ended up with robin shou who did an amazing job in the original movie
2:27 wow
Was that Kane Hodder in the group of guards that attacked them?
Yes it is. He also briefly appears in Best of the Best 3.
Why dont anybody publish the full fight scene of brakus and lee? That's the best death fight ever

2:28 that if chandler roundhouse tony ferguson's face, instead of front kick
Kane Hodder as security on the left here at 1:24
He was also the guy the punched his gf in the face in the 1st movie
I just noticed same actor who plays “Bert” in the first movie shows up here as a goon
Even Khabib could not break a neck like that, so much about a realism
Its almost as if this is a movie
Nixe to hear some old style. Dutch raving years, 90's
1:20 Angel ice - Je n aime que toi
