Shouldn't be plastic properties defined for the material? There is obviously plastic deformation but solver runs it without these properties (only elastic and density are defined in the video), I am confused.

sir, i have a doubt can we do fracture test of a brittle material in abaqus..... for example say glass bottle by keeping the bottom as a fixed support and giving load from the top and finding at which point it gets cracked first .....or suggest anyother software sir please

Sir, How wise if the material is Carbon Fiber Reinforced Composite ? That is same step to simulate crash (quasi statics Crash) ?
Why was it enough to just put Youn'g modul and Poison's ratio, and not plasticity data?
