Good Morning my Friend. That is one thing that is hard to diagnose. I know enough about the engines and fuel system to be dangerous. I'm like you. I don't have enough information to give a proper educated guess. Judging from where the fire started. My guess would be a fuel line failed. Not a main line. If there are a flexible lines in that area. It's really hard to say. I don't think it was a main fuel line. Or RUD would have happened instantaneously. That would be my guess. SpaceX by now has a pretty good idea what failed. They've got sensors threw out the entire ship. Great Update. Have a Great Day my Friend.
In my opinion, the Starship flight had several cascading failures that led to the outcome: Fuel and oxidizer leaks - without this, there wouldn’t have been a fire in the engine area. No protection between engines - this allowed the fire in one engine to spread to others. Lack of sensors - without proper sensors, the issue couldn’t be detected, which might have allowed the faulty engine to be shut down. No monitoring cameras in the engine area - cameras could have helped collect more data and even enabled manual intervention to mitigate the issue. That said, SpaceX’s achievements are still absolutely incredible.
It was not a faulty engine, but a fault in the fuselage. It was monitored by sensors, but that didn't help. Cameras in the engine area don't show much except the plasma coming out of the engines making everything too bright.
You know these rockets are a long long way to being finished but how else does someone figure out what’ll work and what won’t plus it makes life more exciting to think one day we may live on many different planets

Being still reliable to land or reach LEO or whatever destination in case one engine stops working? Try to do that with one engine. And then there is throttling the whole engine system by shutting off some engines because you cant throttle rocket engines down to 5% thrust e.g. And then there is things like chamber pressure. No 3 D Printing of very large engines....and and and...but you know better....comparing rockets with planes for instance is such a marvelous display of expertise /facepalm. You seem to be such a genius that puts all his money in one single stock as well....but hey most probably with your mindeset and level of intelligence you dont have spare money to invest anyhow. /shrug

only a fool would use one engine. That one engine fail and you got nothing left.
This can be prevented if people would stop crediting musk and give credit where it's due, to the people designing and building it.
Just like how Bezos is not really doing anything for Blue Origin ?

Let Boeing get them. They are stuck in the space station because of Boeing. Stop expecting Musk to solve everyone's problems.
Totally different rocket and totally different rocket engine. Starship isn't used to go to the ISS and currently has nothing to do with manned flight.
