I can have so much players join but only make the tiniest bit of Robux come from it. No revenue earned means no ads :/ it's hard trying to push games out there
I'd recommend saving some robux before you start a project or put it out just incase. Because you never know if you'll need to pay someone to do something professionally in your game, if you want to make an ad, etc.

Yea, starting with a obby is a great idea In my opinion, because it teaches you about part properties and how to make blocks anchored, transparent and etc. knowing these properties are useful for both builders and scripters. I made the same mistake as you and I tried making a game like jailbreak. Guess what? I failed. Then I worked on a obby, and now I have been on studio for 1 year. I’ve got better at scripting now.
