I need prayer...I'm 19 I've had my let downs but coming out of high school I got a taste of well everything that I felt life could throw at me I've been trying to find work and now I'm trying to go to the Air Force I even went to take my first asvab twice an I was soo close to passing...I use to pray and read my bible a lot recently my grandmother passed an it's been really hard for me and my family before she passed I already had thoughts of suicide, I have friends but if I don't have anything to offer I won't really hear from them...I know I'm a great person I'm very humble I'll go the extra mile for anybody if I'm able....but now I feel like I'll just never get my blessing sometimes I know I can't look at the people around me but I can't help but notice it's like I see my peers moving forward but for me I'm trying my hardest an for me to not have anything to show for just tears me apart..... Happiness, self-assurance, and eternal prosperity, according to the Bible, come as a result of submission to God’s will, starting with salvation (Matthew 6:33), and always in the context of His will (Hebrews 10:36). Osteen’s message is sweet, attractive, and pretty. It comes with the million-dollar smile, a heaping helping of the feel-goods, and all of the motivation of the best self-help gurus. That message is also hollow, weak, and devoid of any real value. The most important parts of the gospel are left out, supposedly to broaden his ministry’s appeal. Anyone depending on that message, without recognizing what’s missing, is going to find himself spiritually hungry, frustrated, and in dire straits when a real disaster strikes.

I need prayer...I'm 19 I've had my let downs but coming out of high school I got a taste of well everything that I felt life could throw at me I've been trying to find work and now I'm trying to go to the Air Force I even went to take my first asvab twice an I was soo close to passing...I use to pray and read my bible a lot recently my grandmother passed an it's been really hard for me and my family before she passed I already had thoughts of suicide, I have friends but if I don't have anything to offer I won't really hear from them...I know I'm a great person I'm very humble I'll go the extra mile for anybody if I'm able....but now I feel like I'll just never get my blessing sometimes I know I can't look at the people around me but I can't help but notice it's like I see my peers moving forward but for me I'm trying my hardest an for me to not have anything to show for just tears me apart..... Please send prayers my way!!!!!!!

Doreen James, Listening to Osteen, a person would think God primarily wants to make poor people wealthy, sad people happy, and insecure people self-confident. But, according to the Bible, God primarily wants to make dead people live (John 5:24), wicked people righteous (Matthew 9:13), and His enemies His friends (Romans 5:10). Happiness, self-assurance, and eternal prosperity, according to the Bible, come as a result of submission to God’s will, starting with salvation (Matthew 6:33), and always in the context of His will (Hebrews 10:36).
Osteen’s message is sweet, attractive, and pretty. It comes with the million-dollar smile, a heaping helping of the feel-goods, and all of the motivation of the best self-help gurus. That message is also hollow, weak, and devoid of any real value. The most important parts of the gospel are left out, supposedly to broaden his ministry’s appeal. Anyone depending on that message, without recognizing what’s missing, is going to find himself spiritually hungry, frustrated, and in dire straits when a real disaster strikes.

Joel, as I was listening to your minister overflow, a knock was at my door. I opened the door and it was a new friend God crossed my path with. They had a bag of meat and gave it to me!! It was freshly caught deer meat! I asked God for deer meat. A few weeks before this, I was reminiscing about my dad bringing deer home and I would make deer sausage
