I always find it funny when people say that he sounds like he smokes x packs a day when he canonically was a chainsmoking scientist turned into a bad tempered Immortal dragon man that’s currently pushing 200 years old. I honestly wouldn’t expect him to sound any other way but gruff and gravelly. If David Forseth wasnt voicing him, Steve Blum is the only other person I could see doing it.
People out here mocking his VA like he isn't playing a 200 year old chain-smoker with the flame of corruption in his throat who literally smokes shotgun shells at the start of every match. Even his VA sounding better in strive makes sense, since as far as we can tell, he's stopped smoking
