On the waterfall, you should get a very short hose and securely attach it to your water system. We actually have pipe tape on our hose, and found we needed to use 2 rubber gaskets instead of just 1. Do whatever it takes to get a short host setup that is water tight. Then when you need water, the attachment (the longer hose to the little tiny short hose) is outside your rig, and if it leaks, it leaks outside ;). and if you want to be extra pro you can put a small valve on the end of short hose so you can close it to insure you get no water in your rig!
Thanks for the feedback. We ended up using a small hose with quick connects and cutoff valves on both sides. Works really well and haven’t had any accidents since. 😀
Hi guys. In relation to the rattling noise of the kitchen vent while you drive, we added a standard rv vent insulator cushion 14"x14" and it really helps. It blocks the vacuum effect and stops the ratling!
Here’s a revised response: Thanks for watching! The drawer risers are a DIY project we put together. We used wood dowels to attach the pieces to the drawers, but an easy alternative would be to use flat metal brackets. If you have access to a saw, you can cut the wood to the desired size and customize them to fit. There are companies that sell similar risers, but this DIY approach is much more budget-friendly.
The voltage will tell you the State of Charge (SOC) of the battery. Very similar to an ebike. But you have to know the nominal system voltage so you can calculate "percentage" charge remaining. The wall display would need a computer to do that, which is why the app on your phone provides more data, because the phone is a handheld computer.
Great videos, thank you! we recently got revel too and researching for upgrades - just have seen your 20 upgrades video)) what products did you use for those shallow drawers?
@@ExploreTrekAdventure Got it, thanks! Have a question about the stackable bins for the pantry shelves - what size did you use? I ordered large and they seem don't fit the section with vertical rails or am i doing it wrong?
We also have the large size. Just make sure the bump out part that has the handles is sticking out into the front. The cut out side would be in the back. It took a lot of force to get them into place.
If you prioritize off-road capabilities and are willing to sacrifice some space, the Revel is a great option. While RVs are rarely a good financial investment, there is a strong resale market for Revels. Just keep in mind that most upgrades don’t add much to the resale value.
We built them and it is a fairly simple DIY project. Grab a few boards, cut to length and screw them together. You can screw them to the drawers with a flat bracket or use wooden dowels like we did.
Not going to go into our details but we have seen some great vans in the 120 range. It really depends on your needs and how far you are willing to travel.
Great video. Being torn between the Sprinter and Transit. I think we would choose the Ford. I don't know if we would by one done or have it built. Dollars will dictact that. TBD. THANKS for your great review. Oh, stinky slinky or macerator? Ty
I just picked up 19/20 with 37k miles for a little under $100k. The good is that is in like new condition. The bad is it has the AGM batteries. The battery upgrade is expensive.
You just need to set expectations that a big 8400lb van is going to be a bit slow off the line. Definitely give ourselves more space when we pull out on the road.
The newer Revel is on the Sprinter AWD twin turbo high output platform. The acceleration and steering are much improved.
Sounds like a nice upgrade.

Great recommend!
Cool review !!! Cooking outside with your Voodoo Ranger....ahhhh nice 🙂
Voodoo Ranger is such a wildcard. It sounds disgusting but is actually really good. 😂

Thank you for the tip! 😀

Another great video! Can you let me know how to find the drawer risers? It would certainly make the drawers more useful.

If you mean the drawer extensions to make them taller it was a DIY project. It is easy to do if you have a few tools.

Awesome video!!! Thanks for posting. I’ve been researching the revels. Is the insurance expensive?
It wasn’t too bad but I suppose it depends on what you compare it to. We also are not full time which would be a bit cheaper and easier to find.
Is it worth it to buy a revel? I’m thinking about buying one for full time living. I’m wondering about the resale value.

Thanks for the reply. Any advice on buying a Revel? I know most take out a 20 year rv loan with 20% down basically signing your life away.
Where did you find the kitchen drawer risers please?

Great video! Looking for a used van under 100k...did you finance yours? if so what is the term/monthly payment if you don't mind me asking. Thanks

What year is your van,I’m in the process of considering a used Revel, low miles under $100,00.00
It is a 23

It’s nice but I not fan the extra seats behind driver that to me wasted space could be designed way better
Can the chairs by the table be removed?
The cushions can be removed, but the bench has plumbing and heating equipment underneath.
@ thank you. I have parrots that I wanted to put a cage there instead.
Not enough overhead storage though ugh
do another floorplan - rear bath, remove the 2 passenger seats, add a microwave,
We really like the floor plan and we did recently added a microwave.
@@ExploreTrekAdventure Where did you put the microwave, did it fit in the overhead cupboard above the sink?
But only thing killing Me is the outrageous price tag for ugh really nothing new !
Yeah, it makes me wonder what I can build my own for
Exactly nice van but some ridiculous stuff don’t need ugh … weather build inside my self
Ugh I’d need upgrade the battery etc…
What type and size of battery would you do?
13.1 volts means your good! 11 is bad. That's the cheat sheet.
"the first time you hit the gas it's not gonna do anything"
You just need to set expectations that a big 8400lb van is going to be a bit slow off the line. Definitely give ourselves more space when we pull out on the road.
Exactly see not layed out correctly just put together like huge rv
It's a diesel, you are driving it wrong.
How are we driving it wrong?
Its mostly bad in a Revel 😂
🤣 (we do really like it)
Hi, Kelli and Greg, love your videos too much simply overwhelmed me! Would love to work with you guys, can I have your email? I'd be happy as hell!🥰
You can find our contact info on our website.
Okay. Thanks.
The outside appearance of this van is ugly but it's beautiful inside in spite of the flaws.
