I’m no builder but….isn’t turning that house to the left, won’t that take the awesome view of the water, mountain, that was originally to the right? Sorry if this is a stoopey question but they’re seemingly missing out on the big money shot/view? Ben - love all you guys, that’s one super awesome crew you’ve got, love watching good lookin men hard at work 😊 your family is lovely as well, you’re livin’ the dream, good for you and thank you for sharing with us! You’re obviously one hard working guy as well as the crew, great getting To watch you guys in the off- snow season months. You’ve worked HARD for all you’ve got, atta boy! Thank you again for sharing the journey with us all! Also including your management team (Sadie and Bud) they’re sweet! Truly enjoy watching them living their best lives! Sorry this was so long! ✌️
It's amazing how many herds of deer & elk you see in the eastern sierras. Come hunting season they will all disappear. I get a kick how Sadie can sleep and stretch out..😂
14:44 I'd give anything to know the petrology behind the white layer in the cut. Since you're basically cutting into a glacial moraine one sorta expects a uniform stack of glacial till without this distinct white layer. What's to say it's not a layer of volcanic ash or tuff? Or just a pulverized layer of granite or even a caleche where there used to be vegetation back then? What's your intel on this white layer within the till? Have Soils already been out there to look at this?
10:44 Sadie is my spirit animal ❤️

😂😂😂😂😂 Sadie love her ❤
Just went thru that area on my way back home. I hear you, 82 here in CC. Just unpacked my gear, and about to crack a can of Coors Banquet.
Love your content.
9:10 A proper packrat could salvage most of that fence for another project. 😉
Antlers! Not horns. Thanks for the road trip Ben.

You gonna have to put up a retaining wall for the opposite side of the wedge?

Where's Ed been lately? Is he still working with you?
No, not the puppy! Wait, clickbait LOL!
Elk don’t have horns.
Yup they're antlers
We knew what he meant though. Ive passed by that same spot for 30 years and have only seen the elk 4-5 times. Its quite the sight.
