I will never forget that first day 12NOV2010, seeing you PJ's hover above us only to suddenly fly off. I thought to myself, "shit, if the PJ's won't land we are truly fucked." Then a few moments later they are back to pull 25% of my platoon off that hill. I found out later, it turns out one of them got shot while above us, patched himself up, and came right back. True badasses you guys are. It still shocks me that you guys jumped into that hell. I was in that first platoon that was almost overrun on that mission, D3. The 3rd day I was a few hundred meters away from A3, also once again surrounded, cut off, in close combat. By that point we had attached to A2 because we only had 9 guys left in our platoon. A big thank you to Roger and all your brothers for jumping in for me and my brothers on that unforgettable operation.
