As a newly converted Bongonaught, I absolutely love getting out in the van, finding somewhere to stay for the night and setting up in the wilderness! Met a lovely gent at the weekend who was travelling by motorbike and wild camping. He very much appreciated the Bongo's cooking facilities in the morning when I made a sausage sandwich and a cuppa for him! Lovely community you meet when wildcamping. And it's even better by van.
Oh I completely agree Jonathan. You really do meet a whole new range of people when wild camping. I love seeing all the people with alternative lifestyles. So refreshing
That stop over place is so good .... it will make a cracking place to stay to catch a frosty morning. (no midges then Julia). Another lovely trip you sorted for us all. Thank you.
Thanks for the encouragement to use your vans Julia. I bought a van with a friend last year and we both need to start using it more. I've really enjoyed watching your campervan journeys and even bought my brother a ridgemonkey pan for his birthday after seeing you use yours. Thanks for all your hard work putting the vlogs together, Tamzin
Hi Julia - it’s weird we watched your video this morning on our Sunday morning lie in - just before your video came on we were discussing the fact that Colin “the Bongo” had been sitting on the drive unloved and unused for many weeks…. Your encouragement really hit home and we are now determined to get back out there and have experiences and make memories. We live in North Wiltshire so not that far from you and in fact we might do an initial overnight near your lake. If we spot you we’ll wave! Keep sharing your experiences and love of adventure…. Nick & Kim xx
Hey Nick and Kim 😀 So pleased you feel fired up to do more Bongo Adventures. I used to be exactly the same - my poor van used to sit on the drive getting covered in algae! I shall look out for you at Talybont 😁
Hi Julia I absolutely love my Bongo too. Last weekend visited Rudyard Lake for the first time......stunning......if you haven’t been already you must go 💕♥️💕
@@TheImportanceofBeing yes just sold our third bongo, we now have a 24 year old autosleeper simply as it has a indoor toilet, really miss the easy drive and autobox of my bongo, and yes we can't stop doing a bongo wave evertime we pass one sorry to all bongonaughts out there
It’s not me making reasons not to it’s the government restricting freedoms letting price of fuel go down when no one on roads then now to a price hike plus talking about control passports and quarantine on return .....Ect........

Ah thanks Tamzin. Hope your brother is enjoying the ridge monkey. We get a lot of use out of ours 😊
Bongo, Monmouth Canal, water falls, cheap showers, great combination. Regards AJ

Thank you guys ☺️ you must come to Talybont or in fact anywhere is Powys as it is so Campervan friendly
@@TheImportanceofBeing on my list now thanks for sharing
Great video, lovely places. Can I ask where the canal is?
Hi Jac the canal runs right through Talybont - it’s the Monmouthshire Brecon canal
@@TheImportanceofBeing thankyou, beautiful canal.
Looks like Brecon canal
Yep that’s right 👍🏼 Really lovely but watch out for the bitey insects 😂
@@TheImportanceofBeing spent one night at Brecon promenade last week really recommend it, free overnight parking one night in seven
Yes Brecon has a few places to stay in fact all of Powys is heaven for vans

Well Its true - I can’t do anything about all that - but getting out in my van sure makes me feel a lot better 😊
