I have friends like this, they fast ramadan with me, pray with me, struggle with the divinity of Jesus, but cannot bring themselves to leave Christianity. It breaks my heart and I make dua for their guidance every day.
I know EXACTLY what you mean, one of my guys is killing me. The best reasoning I could get out of him was that he doesn't want to disappoint his family or leave the way of his ancestors. Keep making dua everyday I had a christian friend who was stubborn for so long and one day he came to the mosque with me spontaneously and accepted Islam. He had a different look on his face, I can’t explain it. Guidance is from Allah SWT at the end of the day.

I mean to be fair, not all Christians are disbelievers, the Quran says that Trinitarians and the ones who say God is Jesus are the disbelievers. But he also says there are believers and disbelievers from the people of the book. Of course, they must submit, aka do Islam, or it won't be accepted from them. Can you submit before the Quran was revealed? Of course you can, Abraham was a submitter, and the last prophet didn't come yet. But in that way Abraham would have submitted with the Quran also... That's the thing, when a muslim encounters the Quran he or she believes in it, because it comfirms what they knew already. I go with the definition in the Quran of what a muslim is. I have friends like this, they fast ramadan with me, pray with me, struggle with the divinity of Jesus, but cannot bring themselves to leave Christianity.

Keep making dua everyday I had a christian friend who was stubborn for so long and one day he came to the mosque with me spontaneously and accepted Islam. He had a different look on his face, I can’t explain it. Guidance is from Allah SWT at the end of the day.
You can give them dawah by taking them to Eid events, family events, surround them around good Muslim people. Let them see for themselves.

So the original question is already correct.

based on some hadits Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) kiss the blackstone. But since there is no further explanation about this action, this is not a mandatory action to be done by muslims. As for the reason behind this actions, since there is no exact explanation either:
1. To show his respect to Prophet Abraham. According to the history, the blackstone was given to Prophet Abraham in the process of building kabaa. So the blackstone is the icon of Abraham heritage.
2. To show his longing for Mecca (Makkah). History said that hajj al wada' (farewell hajj) is the only hajj ritual ever done by prophet Muhammad, and the only occasion he ever back to Mecca after settled in Madina, whereas Prophet Muhammad had very great love to his hometown.
3. To show gratitude to Allah SWT, since Prophet Muhammad entering Mecca with glory

I mean to be fair, not all Christians are disbelievers, the Quran says that Trinitarians and the ones who say God is Jesus are the disbelievers. But he also says there are believers and disbelievers from the people of the book.
Of course, they must submit, aka do Islam, or it won't be accepted from them.
Can you submit before the Quran was revealed? Of course you can, Abraham was a submitter, and the last prophet didn't come yet.
But in that way Abraham would have submitted with the Quran also...
That's the thing, when a muslim encounters the Quran he or she believes in it, because it comfirms what they knew already.
I go with the definition in the Quran of what a muslim is.
I don't care about what disbelievers claim it is, their definitions are not from Allah anyways.
Allah said that from the Christiand and J3ws who believe and do good they will have paradise.
But obviously that refers to the people who didn't receive the Quran. I think that is independent of time since even today some haven't received it...
Will they go to hell? I don't think so, except if they do bad or shirk of course... but some don't... and they are being tested and have a scripture... so idk if the test on Judgement Day applies to them, since this life is a test for them and thet have a book calling to one God alone, and they have the fitrah also... of course the Quran is better, but Allah tests people with different means, and the test is still valid...
