It's alright if you didn't know. The first series of TTTE was filmed at Clapham Junction, the second - twelfth series were later filmed at Shepperton Studios before Nitrogen Studios and Arc/Jam Filled in Canada took over for the rest of the show.

The production of this *very does* look like such great fun! I *do* long for the days of pre-CGI world in children's television animation. Saying that, some modern CGI kids programmed *can* still be great (I *really* like Netflix's "Go, Dog, Go!"). Just depends on what how they do it and how they do go about it (e.g. shit like "Fireman Sam").
I just remembered this video existed, it's absolutely magical. (I feel like the reason Zorran is cross during the interview is because Chris Tulloch is using the Big Mac controller during the demonstration if you look closely.)

I think the convenience of modern CGI has taken a lot of this magic away.
