I am a happy Gurdian gear customer,I can recommend their product for enthusiastic Touring bikers. I bought their tankbag around 2400 in the year 2018 before my Darjeeling trip,the product is still in use for my daily office ride.

I am using Guardian gears saddle and tank bags for a long time now and I can proudly say that I have made a right decision going for this brand. Made in India product with top notch quality and affordable prices. Also can be fitted into any type/power bike. Can't fully compare it to Rynox gears (serious adv. and professional touring) but for a casual tourer in India it's definitely a classy product.
30% was way too high and they could negotiate to bring it down. Equity, for an upcoming entrepreneur is most critical and parting with that much is almost suicidal in the long run.

They need a young co-founder who can help them with marketing and tech. Having a shark wouldn't have any value since after 30% dilution, they would have had to dilute further for the co-founder.

My honest opinion for this, if your profit is 30l to 40l then just save this for next cycle and apply it in marketing. It will be late but all will be yours. If you have come here for 30l and sale your 15% of your company, it is not at all worth and you will loose all your focus just make them happy. In this digital world marketing is not that hard. Just provide valuable service and good quality to customer and they will come to you.Slow Sturdy and Win.
Being a biker I can safely say the sharks didn't have an idea about the TAM in biking luggage market and how it could be further expanded into other stuff like riding gears and accessories.
