- Saxophonist, composer and bandleader Branford Marsalis comes to Chapel Hill to discuss his music, service to the community and more with Chancellor Holden Thorp. In addition to his work as a musician, Marsalis is an Artist-in-Residence at NC Central University. He will receive an honorary degree from UNC-Chapel Hill on May 13, 2012.
