My wife and I went on it twice in a row because there was nobody in line for it since we came really early. We needed to tone down our adrenaline after the literal war crime known as Falcon's Fury there in the background. We didn't know it was going to turn 90° before the drop.
Neither did I steer clear from rides like that at theme parks , fairs , carnivals been to BG 1000 times never rode falcons fury but this time friend insisted because we got on every one except that one so I agreed when we got to the top and that seat turned downwards I let out a loud holy shit 😂😂 cuz I was not expecting that . Made it 10x scarier then what I already imagined
Yes, it’s marketed as a family inverted coaster. I’m sure there’s some thrill factor to it though, or at least a cute ride to get your kids into coasters. I’ll be going this Saturday, hopefully the line isn’t four hours long
Honestly, I'm torn. I really do like this ride. Would absolutely ride it over and over. However, I wish Busch Gardens had a few more edgy/intense rides. I miss Cedar Point pretty bad sometimes.
@@aafjeyakubu5124 Sheikra, Montu, Iron Gwazi are all pretty intense, but yeah I get you. If they added one or two more thrill rides it would be better. But if we’re going down that route, EVERY park would benefit from 1-2 more intense rides haha.
If anything Busch Gardens needs more family rides like this. Once your kids age out of the Sesame Street land like mine have, there isn’t much they can do until they’re ready for Cheetah Hunt or Kumba and that’s still a few years away.
BGT has needed a family thrill ride for a while now as BGT has so many insane and incredible thrill rides but I gotta say this is very short, it being this short it would easily go round twice imo. But its a great coaster for young thrill riders who wanna build themselves up to the big ones and for people who wanna start the day mellow.
Long banked turns and leg choppers are the best thing about inverts. I'd rather have a sitdown for inversions or a lap bar/clamshell design for drops. Looks like something i could ride on repeat
it'll get shipped somewhere else most likely if they don't scrap it for quick cash. I'm sure they could assemble that thing at any small park who'd like a wild mouse coaster. i mean it was originally at busch gardens Williamsburg before coming to Tampa.
Montu, SheiKra, Falcon's Fury, and now Phoenix Rising. With all do respect, Isn't 2 Bird themed attractions enough for Busch Gardens Tampa Bay like Montu and SheiKra? Don't get at me wrong, I do like the new attractions they've came up with, but could they rename the other 2 rides other than birds that would also connect to Africa and Egypt for in the near future? Instead of Phoenix Rising, What about "Prometheus" The God of Fire in Egypt. Instead of Falcon's Fury, "Fearsome Fury" or something while they can keep the word "Fury" in the title
I feel sad because I’m going on this Saturday (July 20) and the park is gonna open this in July 21. I feel so sad 😢😢, idk when I’m going back to Busch Gardens and I really wanted to try this coaster…
It's a nice intro coaster for newbies before going on the more intense ones.
Shut up nerd

Wow, a mini inverted coaster! I didn’t know those existed! Pretty cool for the kiddos!
First B&M family invert outside of China!!
@@gridiron_coastersNo, theres one at frontier city oklahoma
That's a Vekoma family invert, not B&M.
Mini Montu!!!!!!
I'd trade the on-board audio for a longer ride - seemed quite short! I guess it's for the kiddos
Yep get them ready for Montu

I have a 3 year old and this is right up there ally
I’ve been on all these rides but this one. Looks smooth!
Onboard audio
Yeah, tbh, you hardly notice it while on the ride. I wish it was better
i didnt even notice it when i got on it yesterday 😭
@@yaboiblock I've found that it's rare to get a ride on Phoenix Rising with the soundtrack working. It's quite unreliable.
Another name for Phoenix Rising is Montu Jr.
Exactly! Wish I had this when I was little. -Scott
Right this is the kiddie version
Or Inverted Coaster 2
I would totally ride this! I think it's perfect for a kid/family ride. There needs to be more of these

Its so weird seeing a B&M invert without inversions. I kept thinking it would go into a corckscrew or a loop.
PHOENIX RISING 🐦🔥🐦🔥🐦🔥

Love this! It’s like a way better and more modern version of the old school reptar ride at kings island!
Love this. I am not a huge fan of some of the inversions on inverts so this is right up my alley.
Phoenix+sand serpent = coaster
This looks fun as hell
This is such a cool coaster. Looks like a lot of fun! As always, well done, Scott!
Ur a nerd this ride is lame
I Was There A Month Before It Opened I Missed The Opertunity to ride it
Reminds me of Alpengeist at Busch Gardens, Williamsburg, VA
That ride is so fun!!!! The onride lights looks so good at night too
This looks Awesome!
baby montu looks like a fire ride lol

Looks smooth as butter!?
not a big fan of inverted coasters but i would ride this
A phoenix sounds like a red-tailed hawk, apparently.
😂 -Scott
seems like a cool little family coaster
I went on it
Do not let bro go on Falcon’s Fury or Montu
IN LITTRILY GOING THERE TO RIDE IT RN
Wait is the ride out now
I believe so
Not everyone likes roller coasters but I sure do hehe
I really wanna ride this my sister is going on this ride tomorrow
Me and my brother ride this new ride 7 times last night 😅
Very Beginner Friendly. Not very long, still fast, and still decently tall but not too tall, or too fast.
So excited to ride it!
I rode this yesterday and despite being a "family" coaster, it actually is kind of fun and i rode it again.
Hi Scott!
Cool!👍 But i get "Vekoma Clone" sounding in my head😎
What camera did you use?
GoPro HERO12 Black Edition -Scott
Thanks!
I was honestly expecting Penguin Trek to be the better family B&M. But this looks like it has some bite.
What Happened To Sand Serpent
They took it down
Gone! Never to return!

Inspired by Vekoma STC inspired by Inverted B&M !
I'm a part of building this ride
Applause as well!
Reminds me of Montu
Who’s here after the new BGW ride teaser
I think it would be cooler as a flying coaster. They already have an inverted coaster
This is for families.
@@ElijahSmithVideowell imagine a family flying coaster

Rode it today 6 times is was lots of fun
Can this run with 2 trains?
No
Montu makes me nauseous so I'll do this instead lol
Folks, if you see this and don’t immediately know it’s a family ride you probably need to go back and repeat a few years of school
Or some people are scared of roller coasters and think this is way too scary to be a family ride 🙄
@@lilythebird6853 That is exactly the opposite of the kind of people that I was talking about lol
very nice short ride, I wonder how it compares to Cobra's Curse. Having two strong family coasters is going to really improve the park a lot.
Ffs i almost fell asleep watching that borefest
I'd rather ride the original Phoenix at Knoebels. You're out of your seat more than you're in your seat!
This is a family coaster, so they're not comparable by any means.

It does have some rattle, yes.

seems good for a sea world park
I'd love to see one of these replace Iron Dragon at Cedar Point.
Way too mellow

It's for younger kids/family 🤦🤦
Meh. A nice "ok this is what we're doing today" roller coaster to get your blood moving😆
