I've seen Garth in concert 7 and a half times (He was an opening act the first time so I count that as a half) and I would jump at the chance to see him again and again and again...
There many awesome male country singers that made me fall in love with country music. Toby Keith, Alan Jackson, Garth Brooks, George Strait, Clint Black, Blake Shelton, just to name a few.
My son who is now turning 31 learned his first song of Garth Brooks when he was about 3 or 4 he used to sing friends in low places with his Grandpa. I will never forget that. Love ya Garth! See ya soon in Knoxville,Tn!!!

90's Country was like the second coming of Country music...for me it started with Randy Travis in 89...then came all the ones you mentioned and so many more Trace, Alan, Martina, Toby, Patty Loveless, B & D!...and just too many to mention here. It was a great time in Country music!
My dream since the first time listened to garth brooks at 9 years old was to meet this man and maybe sing a song with him and now at 42 I don't think it'll ever happen
I loved this chit chat (more that than interview) between two musicians...great stories from "the gigs", and perspective on it all from both guys. Love these Kix interviews...they just bring stuff most other interviews do not. Thanks for posting...hope you continue.
Garth is one of the most down to Earth guys in Nashville. God bless you, Garth! Looking forward to seeing you back on the road again soon! I know this Pandemic sidelined you for a bit, but the day is soon coming when you can get back out there and "Just Le'doux it"!!

I grew up in the same Oklahoma town of Yukon. It's not the same as when he or I were there. I have 3 bucket list concerts I want to go to, this was before Garth announced that he was going out on tour. I live in Oklahoma City, so my mom and I drove up to Tulsa and thew whole time I had chills.
Absolutely agree about the traditional/current definition of the genre! Happens in every generation, folks will say “they don’t make it like they used to” and will always just make their own definition of what country music is but come 20 years from that moment, folks will be saying the same thing about current artists then. Never ending cycle! We all know traditional 90s is the best decade for country, though😎

Kix Brooks the host of American Country Countdown I’m going live on Tuesday morning at 8am I was only asking how would you like to be a musical guest on my livestream?
So was I the only one who actually thought that they were related. I thought that for years, until I looked it up and turns out they are not. Please tell me that someone thought the same thing, because I feel really stupid every time that I think about it.
Hey if that doesn't blow your mind this might, Doug Stone is also a Brooks, he was born Doug Brooks but changed his name so he wouldn't get confused with Garth and Brooks & Dunn, and he's also not related to either one of them.

Traditional country is right around the corner. My name is Zac Crump and I'm gonna make country great again. Look me up on TH-cam and Facebook. Original music
Can this bloke get off his arse and get back to Ireland and put on a show which those people should have had when he threw a tantrum and decided to call it off a day before, costing these people thousands in travelling costs. There again they probably wouldn't want him now. Don't ever let him tell you the fans mean everything, because the Irish fans are obviously not amongst them.
The 2 Brooks' Garth and Kix. 2 pioneers in Country Music still going strong as ever !!
I loved to think these 2 are brothers but there not
When my youngest child was born with Down syndrome, I heard “Standing Outside the Fire.” Still holds a special spot in my heart!
💕❤️💕

Ryan Toner bullshit
I’ve got friends in low places was my first country song that I liked!!!
@@ryantoner8132 lmao don't compare them to Garth
lolol, what?! No.
Well said by both of you. Great interview. Thank you.👍👍
Garth is the reason I fell in love with 90s Country. Then I fell for Trisha, Faith, Shania, The Dixie Chicks, Tim McGraw, Vince Gill, and Keith Urban.

I truly, from the bottom of my heart, hope and pray you do!
Thank you so much I sincerely hope you never stop listening to my music 🎶❤️
I saw him in 95 or 96 in MD when he did 5 shows and I sure wish he'd come back to DC. WE have the Capital Arena which is a big place.

Raymond Oakford naw man, he loves that place and I think he would go back
X S Five years on and there still waiting, so obviously you're comment isn't true. Still preaching to the converted in the states.
Why blame him when the complaining idiots on the amount of shows were the ones that ruined it...
Garth is creepy. there's something about him that's not right. I'm sure it will unfold.
...like actually being a genuine dude instead of the phony shit men are these days...🤦🏼♀️🤔
He shoulda stayed retired, oh he never really did. He's a clown, but so is most of FM "country"
Shad DeGiorgis ...he didn’t fully retire you fool. 🤣 can’t fix stupid.
