- In a rain-affected Monaco Grand Prix, we were unable to turn a front row into the result we were hoping for and had to settle for 30 points, courtesy of a second place for Carlos Sainz and a fourth for Charles Leclerc in what was a particularly frustrating race for the Monegasque driver.

Charles had Monaco in the bag. Don’t let him down again, Ferrari.
sainz had a direct impact on his fate. if he hadnt got stuck behind williams, he would have won. but it was the same for leclerc. even us watching the race could easily see that the track was drying fast and there was no need to change into intermediates. perez had no chance of passing wet running ferraris with inter tyres. leclerc should have forseen that like sainz did or like seb did when he was racing with this piece of crap strategy team. they are lucky to get at least 2-4. the only team that got 1-2 on quali and not win the race for the last 15 years is ferrari. this is a joke
@@duruozgur would Charles really have had visibility on what’s happening on the circuit in his position compared to Carlos? I don’t think he had a vision on what everybody else is doing. And they left him out to dry. By the time he did so, it was too late. They should have pitted him earlier.

@@duruozgur Wet->Intern->hards WAS the faster option, Ferrari just waited and wanted to cover the RedBulls, and by doing that they put themselves into a tricky situation,
Sainz not covering Perez was the actual trigger that caused a shitstorm at Ferrari.
@@angelicathompson7410 It was Clear that Ferrari was waiting on RedBull to pit first, and they did with Perez, then Sainz ignored team orders and confused Ferrari...then they Pit Leclerc to cover Perez because Perez was gaining a lot of time on those interns. And that would have been enough for a P2 for leclerc ...but then the doublestack...that cost him 2 positions, so he ended up P4...Thanks Ferrari and thanks Sainz for screwing Leclerc's race, on and if you think somehow what Sainz did was good you have no clue what happened, Sergio litterary gained 2 places and did 1 more pitstop than Sainz

To make the pain less painfull redbull only missed 11 points in 4 races time.

It was such a shame that all the effort the team put into this was in vain due to strategists not being able to think out of the box.

Turns out that ice bath on Saturday wasn't just eye candy for the fans. It was to give a taste to Charles on the metaphorical ice bath that would follow on Sunday..
Hopefully Monaco stays on the calendar and Charles gets his redemption win. I really hope the team at least be competend if they can't be the best (we all know how many times we've seen stuff like "we will learn and come back stronger". I don't think we've learnt from all the previous times if this keeps happening). There are zero guarantees that we will remain competitive for many years, we NEED to make sure this is the year we have our new Champion. Come on Charles, we're all behind you!

This video is nothing but pain, thinking of what could have been. Charles did absolutely everything right and through horrible strategy and indecisiveness Ferrari cost him what should have been an easy easy win. The last team to screw up a front row lock out in Monaco was in 2008! Oh and you guessed it, it was Ferrari 🙄

What a shame the team wasn’t there to support Carlos’ second place finish. Carlos drove a brilliant race with brilliant strategy. If Nicholas had properly moved over, Carlos would have won. Carlos deserves more from the team than the blatant disrespect shown to him both at the track and with Ferrari’s social media headlines. Do better, please. Carlos is a gift. Charles deserves better than the clusterfuck strategy last week
I've been Ferrari fun for a long time, I seen lot of up and down moments ,If you think about it , that was simple bad luck trough out , tiny error with Charles pit stop , Williams getting in way , rain .
Charles(Qualy machine) and Carlos(right up there) are fast drivers they got this, wins will come surely and at the end championship , keep believing.

What williams with Albon and Latifi did to both Charles and Carlos was illegal, awful to watch and frankly a racing misconduct.

Charles was so happy and confident before the race, it's the second win in a row that you guys have taken from him. Stop making mistakes like that, for a team the size of ferrari it's a shame that this happens!!! Work harder on pit stops and change those strategists, or you will embarrassingly lose the championship to redbull
this shows the value of a good videographer. This race had some drama (and while i know Ferrari doesn't want to call out mistakes) there was just long trails of silence and not even music to make this engaging and tell the story of what happened on this day.

oh my gosh. even just using a gimbal for the trophy shots at the end so its not shaky would be an improvement. this is so strange to see a company like Ferrari skimp on their product.

Watch me get more negative replies 😅 but we got some good points for the team on Sunday (considering what happened in Barcelona with Charles* dnf) I know it's not the result that we all wanted but it could have been a lot worse. honestly, i still have a shred of happiness knowing charles even finished his home race, if monaco stays i hope to see charles stand on the top step of the podium at his home race at least once

that's what i always say. it's no use just having a fast car, good strategies are needed to make everything work. It's going to take a while for me to get over this grand pix... it was supposed to be 1-2, man! you need to evolve beyond the car. charles was flying, but they ruined everything. things like that can't happen, because at the end of the year we know that the blame will be placed entirely on the driver when in fact the championship is already lost during these silly mistakes in racing

Ferrari was a specialist in messing up races for Kimi, Seb and Fernando. It is now the turn of Charles and Carlos. Listen to the clarity and precision of communication between Max and GP and compare that to the Ferrari engineers. Charles may have a very good engineer, but he is terrible in terms of communication. The best part was when Charles did everything right and the team royally messed it up, the engineer, instead of apologising, had the audacity to tell Charles to work hard.

Full access to ruining of a race weekend. I just don’t understand how you guys can always take the wrong decision when it comes to strategy. Even F1 TV commentators were able to see that undercut was done by Perez how could you not see that with so many data. Sainz was already telling that dry tires would be better. In that point both drivers were out on track in a comfortable 1-2 so it was just wait for the right time to get a clean out lap and shift to dry tires. It was so OBVIOUS. We are so tired to lose this way and seem as stupids. Car is amazing. Drivers are the best on the grid. Mechanics are doing a great job. Just calm down and do your job because we have been waiting for this too many years and we want that championship.
If conditions are variable, Ferrari will mess up the strategy. Redbull know this.
