Ma'am if I'm not wrong u have this recipie in aval vikatan in 2001 and I tried it during my school vacation.believe it or not such a great explanation where beginner like me could able to do it.and now this time my daughter aged 13 is planning to try out all the steps by herself except deep frying .this is because of ur instruction alone.thanks a tonne for ur guidance.🙏

Akka, I have been a great fan of you for so many years. Can I give you a small suggestion for pathirpeni. Please don't mistake me, with great hesitation i am commenting here. For sprinkling the sugar powder i feel a filter used for filtering tea can be used for uniform sprinkling.
In my mother' s karchikkai recipe, she used to add only kasa kasa, jaggery n dry coconut for d filling. She used to store it for a month. My mother's recipe book book is Alamelu Ranganathan "Manakka Manakka Samayal" published by Manimegalai Prasuram
Happy deepavali mam. To you and all your family members. I too make this combo path it peni and sweet somas. But we call it Christi and for somas use a filling if grayed jaggery and cparai and cashew.
