@@madwitch9977 I often feel weirdly unsettled when I don’t have much time to read. It’s like somethings wrong! I’ve been a bookworm since I was very young.
Hi Nicole. I’m a bit late watching your video, but I wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed this! The craft decadence oracle looks amazing! I’m always looking for an oracle that stands out and has unique keyword. This one does that. Also, I just emailed the creator of the abaton keys. That deck looks amazing too! And you’re right, it is a super reasonable price. And thank you for sharing that there is an online guidebook for the tarot of Persephone‘s Garden. I was not aware of that. And I bought the deck a few months ago. Finally, I had to laugh when you were talking about the soul cats tarot. I am not allowed to have pets in my building either and I miss having a cat terribly! I had not thought about getting a cat deck as a substitution, but now I may just do that 🐈
@@megadele65 thanks! I want to love some of the popular collage decks more than I do but Craft decadence and Abaton Keys are so unique and really well done. I didn’t actually know about the guidebook for Persephone’s Garden until someone else mentioned it in a video. She does include a note about it in one of the emails but apparently I didn’t read it properly! And the Soul Cats isn’t as good as cat but it’s the best I can do! I manage with that and photos of my brothers‘ pets. 💜
Ooo I bet this is going to be good! I watched the first 5 minutes and I have to tell you I impulsively bought the Craft Decadence Oracle 😂 I’ve seen it before and could no longer resist lol But I have to go to my daughter’s little band camp performance so I’ll watch the rest later 😊
Great video as always. The Bones Fall in a Spiral … woah, looked into it and added it to my wish list. I read about a contemporary necromancer recently in ‘Witches of America’ and let’s say his practices were not ethical (if this dude was even telling the truth) so I’m curious to read this approach! I really need to get ‘Reading Lolita in Tehran’ I see it all the time in used book stores. Oh my GOSH Soul Cats! 🐈⬛ I’ve never seen this before ( I don’t think 🤔) Gathering Moss was one of the best things I’ve read this year, or ever, really, and you’re realllly making me want to read Ulysses again but WHY would I do that to myself right now with everything I’m trying to get through 😂😭😭😭
@@SecondThoughtsAboutTheMission Ulysses is really a whole reading project all by itself. It’s actually paused at the moment while I catch up on some of the other things on my ridiculous TBR, but I’ll definitely get back to it. There are just too many things to read! Though as soon as I get Robin Wall Kimmerer’s next book, I’ll temporarily drop everything else! I don’t recall having any serious ethical concerns about The Bones Fall in a Spiral (just difference in preference but that’s fine).
@@NicoleACottageWitch I can’t remember how many years ago I read Ulysses, but so much of it stuck with me even though I didn’t take any notes, I have some more James Joyce in the house that I should read. Yes, definitely need to read more Robin Wall Kimmerer. The reviews I’ve read re: the Necromancy book claim it’s quite the ethical approach, but in the book which I read, the guy was actually robbing graves.
@@SecondThoughtsAboutTheMission oh yeah, grave robbing is not the way to go. Ugh. And I should have started with other Joyce. Instead I read Ulysses first a few years ago. It seems like it flows more easily now having read his other books.
@@NicoleACottageWitch it’s a controversial book and I don’t have quite the energy to discuss it in a wrap up yet lol but yeah, as I was saying, there’s no actual proof this guy actually DID what he claimed to do. Ulysses is the only Joyce I’ve read, yet I own most of his work! There’s just so much to read, and I don’t get to read as much as I used to, but I can’t stop lol
