Rhythm Riot 2024 - before the lights went out

- What a great Rhythm Riot weekender at our new location at the Vauxhall Park in Great Yarmouth.
The organisation was fantastic and everyone had a good time. I am sure lots of people will post their own reviews and memories, but I just have to share this one with you. It was such a fitting finale to the event, even though our security team eventually had to step in (Sorry for this, guys, you did a great job throughout.)
What happened?
After the last live event, i.e. when Elvis had finally left the building, lots of revellers retreated to the V-Lounge to carry on with some more hot dancing.
At about 3am, a security lady (as always) reminded the DJ that there was only time for one more song. He decided to end the evening with Dion's Runaround Sue and switched on the main lights once the record had finished.

I believe he has stiff person syndrome which can be caused by loud noises and he's definitely had some heavy exposure to loud noises over the years. I don't think he's played any live shows since 2022. I'm 20 and I grew up listening and enjoying his music. He's an artist from the 1950s and 1960s so i always just assumed he had passed away. I didn't find out he was in fact alive until earlier this year. It's a shame because I always really wanted to see him live in person
Dion does still dose live shows and recently turned up at the Funky Biscuit in New York and performed ,you should check him out a bit better as he just realised another album called Girlfriends in March and it's fantastic like all of his music 🎶 , another thing is he goes on rock and roll cruises and performs in front of crowds and he sings a lot of Blues music and is still fantastic at 85 ,He is the only singer that writes and realises a new album every two years so you should check him out again
Thought this was in the USA. Didn't think people in the UK had any rights.
