      @@The1Randomizer Only Baltimore Colts fans really know who Jerry Richardson is. He played for Wofford College. The Colts could have really used Richardson in December of 1960, when Alan Ameche ruptured his Achilles Tendon. With Richardson in that backfield, the Colts would have had a decent crack at winning their 3rd straight NFL Title.

    • @TV-fv1ih

      If you know anything about football, you know Jerry Richardson! The problem is he is not a player which is what you inferred with the title. You also ignored most of the deals signed before this video that exceed these amounts!

    The Elway bit about him having a chance to buy a part of the Broncos isn't entirely accurate. They wanted to replace salary with equity, but it would not have been allowed by the leaque. It was an attempt to circumvent the salary cap. They were still able to game the system and get under the cap on a technicality, but they still got in some trouble for it.
    The narrative that he just straight turned it down is false.

    • @steveeckert8396
      @steveeckert8396 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      You are right. Elway didn't "straight turn it down" Pat Bowlen gave Elway a time frame to decide on the deal. With a deadline to respond. Elway by his own emission was too arrogant to even return the phone call. Elway never learned his lesson. He's still that arrogant AND .750 - 1.5 billion poorer because of it. 😂

      It’s all commensurate with the times. I started in the diesel industry at $14 an hour in 1992. Today people at goodwill in the same city make almost $18 an hour to start. It basically means the dollar is worth less than it used to

      @@rayjames6096 Aaron Hernandez, Anthony Smith, and Eric Naposki are three players that received life sentences for murder. Keith Wright was sentenced to 230 years for a bunch of stuff ranging from armed robbery to kidnapping. Next longest after those guys is Daryll Henley with 43 years for drug trafficking and “attempted conspiracy to commit murder” which I assume means he tried to hire a hitman.

    What I don't get is that the NFL is the top money earning sport, but players aren't paid more with more guaranty contracts. Top MLB players have guaranteed contracts worth 300-400 million dollars. In fact many have contracts worth 100- 200 million. NFL should be able pay contracts that are guaranteed 3-5 years.
