Lovely fall colors in your garden thank you for sharing with us. I always love to see how the plants in my garden change in fall. I have some tall purple balloon flowers that change over to have yellow/orange leaves in the fall and they have the most interesting and beautiful seed pods form at this time of year.
My neighbour just gave me a yellow perennial mum. So pretty. I will be able to cut in half when it’s done blooming. So pretty. 🌼🌾🌼. Your garden is still looking fantastic. 🌼🌾☀️🌳
I love your hydreangeas! I have several well established plants. My favorite had been Endless Summer. Unfortunately, none of my hydreangeas performed this year. I worked hollytone into the soil and saw one bloom on just one plant - so disappointing! I purchased a little lime light hydreangea last year, and that performed beautifully. This week, I'm noticing that all my hydreangeas are just now starting to put out blossoms. We are in the same zone - actually think we're just a few towns apart! Wonder what your thoughts are on my slow bloomers that have performed well 8n the past?
@Suburbanoasis no, they are the Endless Summer by Proven Winner. I do have one big leaf that is more of a layer summer/fall bloomer but the rest are Endless Summer
Hello Soleil 😊 Your garden is still looking great. I love your variety, always something for me to think about adding to my own beginner garden. Been in my home for over 25 years and have done the most gardening just this year bc there was already an existing garden which really needed changing do to sunlight changes and lack of performance and no longer making me happy. Question for your mums; do you prim them back as the season goes on or do you let them just do their own thing … I planted two last year that came back and are both doing well, however, one I pruned back and it is currently three times the size of the other. Also, have you ever had success devideing and transplanting ?
Also, limelight hydrangea is currently my favorite hydrangea so far. I also have a tuff stuff (which I just relocated this year for more dappled sunlight do to no flowers this year. Hopefully next year 😊) and a let’s dance can do.
I usually trim them before the 4th of July to ensure they have good time to put on buds. If I want to divide a plant I typically do it in spring or early summer.
Wow. Despite the crazy weather, your garden is still beautiful. As far as panicles, I’ve always said Pinky Winky is my favorite, but lately Little Lime Punch is giving it a run for the money. The blooms are beautiful and the stems are like metal, they’re so strong. Do you ever propagate the autumn joy sedum to get it growing in different spots?
I miss those lovely autumn days at the soccer field with the kids. 😊
They are fun, this last weekend was super hot though! 😄

Couldn't agree more and those sound beautiful.

I've never seen a little lime punch in person but maybe someday, of course, then I might buy it! 😆
Beautiful garden. I wonder, do you have drip irrigation
Hello, I do not have drip irrigation.
Gumdrop!
Yes, the silver gumdrop, thank you! 🙃
Beautiful garden. Wow! If I had only one hydrangea, it would be my Little Hottie panicles all over the place!
They are pretty, I am just getting to know mine. How long have you had yours?
I want mums that come back every year❤
Nice
One hydrangea? The Diamond Rouge that I got for Mother's Day two years ago 💞💞💞
That one is pretty fantastic!
