Hi Miss Oto Tom, I really hope you could kindly reply to my question. I am an FY2 doctor working in the uk under a skilled workers visa. I recently updated my visa as i got a new job offer come August this year. I paid £500 for a priority service which as i understand should get a decision in 5 days. It has been 4 weeks now, still no reply yet. I called up the ukvi help line, and was told that sometimes have to wait that long. Why cant he just give me the status of my visa application? Is there a special help line that i can call to actually check the status of my visa application. I can provide my application id which is on the visa applic itself. Or do u think i should go to London UKVI and directly talk to somewhere instead of calling? Thanks in advance for your assistance.

The requirement for the UK visa is 6 months.
When they reconsider after pre-action protocol, does the officer (have access) read "the issue" or merely look at application alone?
