At what was supposed to be the happiest moment of my life-my engagement party-everything took a dramatic turn. In front of all our family and friends, my future mother-in-law cruelly mocked me, demanding $100k if I wanted to marry her son. As if that wasn't humiliating enough, my fiancé stood there and laughed when she threw champagne in my face. But I wasn’t going to let anyone disrespect me like that. In that moment, I realized my worth, turned to my fiancé, and calmly said the words that would change everything: “You’re fired.” Watch how this shocking event unfolded and how I took control of my future in the most unexpected way.
