Born and raised in Brandon, this is great to see. It's too bad more business people aren't doing what they did with Second Fire Hall. Brandon has some amazing buildings that could be brought back to life. Thanks for the share. Very well put together. I live in Sidney/Victoria BC now.
Terrific. Even though I'm not originally from Brandon, I enjoyed it very much. I first came here in 1982 with a band from Ontario...met my future wife at the City Centre.
Born and raised in Brandon! This was excellent! So interesting to see all of these pictures. I don't know the people personally involved but it's still a gem and so wonderfully done! Thank you.
The east end was my stomping grounds. So many memories from the community center. From breaking into the pool in the spring to skateboard the deepens, to snowboarding and hockey there in the winter.
I think I knew some of these people from when I hung around Ted Good Music in the early 80's as a teen, they used to let me tune the guitars and mop the floors and I'd take lessons in the basement. I'm pretty sure Marlene Bradshaw is the same Mrs. Bradshaw that was my grade 7 teacher at Massey. Nice vid, I left in '89 and still get homesick.
Only about 12 minutes in so far but it's a shame we don't have anything like the Prince Edward with all its art decor style. Now any new building in Brandon is just a steel shell or just stucco. No style or soul.
My hometown, so lucky to have been raised there. Great community!

what's the name of the piano song playing after Canon in D?
+ManitobaRails Not positive. It is from the included library in Final Cut Pro X. It might take me some time to find the title.
Thanks. Your video is fantastic
