@@Lunaloungelofi AI music isn’t music, it’s media. Don’t get it twisted. This is nothing but a massive fraudulent ruse to make quick cash without putting in any effort or creativity. You’re not a musician. Never try claiming the title either until you’ve actually opened GarageBand or FL studio.
@@thisismychannel4535 Your perspective raises an important debate about the nature of music, creativity, and authenticity, particularly in the age of AI. Here's some food for thought: What Defines Music? Music, at its core, is organized sound that elicits an emotional or intellectual response. AI-generated music, though crafted through algorithms, can still achieve this effect. Does the origin (human vs. AI) invalidate the result? Effort and Creativity in AI Music While AI tools can automate the creation process, they don’t run on autopilot without human input. Crafting prompts, tweaking parameters, and curating results involve creative decisions. For example, composers using AI often treat it as an extension of their toolkit, akin to an instrument. Technology in Music Is Not New Every era of music has introduced technology that shifted the landscape-synthesizers, drum machines, DAWs like GarageBand or FL Studio, and even the printing press for sheet music. Each was initially met with skepticism but eventually became part of the musical canon. Are All Intentions Equal? Yes, some creators might use AI solely to capitalize on trends, which can seem disingenuous. But others use it as a way to explore new sonic territories or collaborate across boundaries they couldn’t before. What Makes a Musician? Is being a musician about using traditional tools and methods, or is it about the intent and impact of the work created? If AI helps someone realize a musical vision they couldn’t otherwise achieve, does that diminish the end result? Your skepticism is valid, especially in a landscape where rapid advancements can blur lines between art and commerce. But like any tool, AI’s role in music depends on how it’s wielded. Would you be open to examples of how people use AI in genuinely creative ways?

EDIT: Easily one of the best albums I've heard all year. Had a super stressful day at work and this just made it all seem better. I Definitely have to check your other stuff out!!
Just to add my voice to the people seeing this for what it is, if there are any people out there seeing this who don't realize it is AI generated: a human musician would not spit out 8 roughly 1 hour long videos of songs with random titles, AI generated thumbnails, probably AI generated descriptions, tracks that sound so similar it hurts, and post no credit to actual human beings (no names, no location, no story, nothing, just out of nowhere decide to start posting this stuff) all within 1 month. This is a growing trend on youtube, it is AI no doubt, and its messed up that the video poster has not indicated that anywhere in their video or description.
I certainly didn't notice that it is AI generated! It doesn't really bother me and I enjoy the content on the channel but I didn't realize that AI generated music has come so far: the last time I tried AI generated music was in 2022 when prompting would give me compositions which sounded very machinelike. This on the other hand sounds to me very humanlike, must be the groove. Very cool stuff! I hope Luna Lounges makes a behind-the-scenes where they show the process
Darn, I was aware of this trend and despite that I still was second guessing myself while listening to this as I'm not musically trained. That's quite unfortunate that the music itself isn't authentic, Especially as I was briefly thinking about downloading the album for local playback.
I didn’t know either, thank you for pointing this out. And even though I may listen to this again soon, it would be ethical in my opinion for any and all products made from AI to be labeled as such.
