There is no blackface inkling. Slosher inklings always put up a wide smile during the begining of the match. The ink just so happens to be pink, giving the illusion that they have lips. But inklings dont actually have 'lips'. So stop complaining lmao
But question..... why is this important?

stephen flesch People see what they want to see, I guess. I didn't even notice the...resemblance, till everyone kept bringing it up. The the only thing that caught my attention was a team of mainly black inklings, making me think the team consisted of black players; I wrong though, but that's okay lol.

The US team is pretty much the only ones not taking it as seriously as everyone else. Which was a kick in the teeth when they won last time.

*edit* looking closer the illusion is that the shadow on the teeth made them look like exaggerated lips.
This is a perfect example of why gyroscope aiming should be standard for any shooter on Switch (looks at Fortnight and Paladins).

I'm picking a switch up for my daughter this game looks fun but what's the objective of it.... It seem like the team that has majority of the map covered with paint wins could anybody clarify it for me it would be greatly appreciated
There are different game modes that you can play such as turf war which is the main one where you have to get as much ink of your colour on the map as possible. There's also ranked battles that include Tower Control, Clam Blitz, Splat zones and Rainmaker. I'm not good at explaining how they work but it's really fun. You can also play singleplayer in a story mode

Not bad, but letting teams from not all continents its not really competitive. They should put the Champions of Africa and South America too, to make that more interesting and expand that Tournament in that territories.
