Leo also has a custom bari that was designed out of lighter material. Still impressive considering he uses pretty much the most uncomfortable neckstrap possible
Actually I'm pretty sure he wasnt. If I remember correctly he's said before that he had to practice really hard in order to get good at that. If I'm not wrong Leo P went to a good music school for Clarinet and picked up sax along the way, he most likely had little to no experience in marching band

hey i had a question regarding your soprano/alto sax soloist? how did he manage to switch from a soprano sax embouchure to an alto embouchure but still maintain such consistent good tone and intonation? Soprano sax is the most troublesome sax due to always being out of tune and requiring a really tight embouchure , I’m just intrigued by how your soloist did it. Thanks! -Ivy
Honestly, after years the bari is not that heavy and honestly I find myself going to pick it up and expecting some heaviness but it's light with one hand
You need to work on your low notes buddy, it's either you got too soft of a reed or need a fat mouthpiece fam... Make sure you tune your section as well. Other than that, the fast notes are okay 👌
For marching band i run a softer reed(V16 2 1/2) and I high baffle mouthpiece(Dukoff D7) and i can outplay pretty much my entire band when we're on the field
Since your experienced, is playing the music the hardest part or is it moving around with a big instrument. I’m counting tenor sax as a big instrument.

I always wondered how Leo P could dance and play like he does. After seeing this, it's clear Leo was in marching band when he was younger.

Alden Codding he used the ybs 52 which he liked it over the pro model(ybs 62) because it’s lighter
