Arsen, of course I used all of your advice when I did visit Thailand in January. I am a truckdriver for over more then 30 years and I learned that to keep all the things together about documents they will ask when I get pulled over by law enforcement I already hand them over before they asked me for it. ( because I know they will ask me for it ). This will speed up things for me and the person who is checking me for my documents. So, my advice is, keep everything ready, just hand over all the documents they will ask you for, what you know they maybe gonna ask for. For example, the place where you will stay, just give it already, before they ask you, they will decide if they will use all the information you give, instead of waiting that they ask you for it and then you need to search for it. They are pro`s behind the desk and trust me, they like it if you are prepared, they will return to you the documents they don`t need, with a smile and you don`t hold up the line, because you need to search for that one thing they really wanna see.
Hi Arsen, I hope you are doing great! Quite true what you say in your introduction; you are smiling upon arrival and crying when you leave beautiful Thailand, that always happens to me. Thank you for sharing your great, entertaining, beautiful and informative videos.
Arrive 😊 Leave ☹️ well known😅, entry rules and visa on arrival pretty cool, headache only for longterm Visa paperwork, great info‘s, see you and stay safe 🙏🏼🇹🇭
Great updates and video again! Can you make a video about rural places in Bangkok? Not always center. On january i stay at one hotel in Nawamin Rd. and it was great. It was 25min from center with taxi but still amazing place and never crowded. Thank you!
What if you booked just one way ticket to Thailand as you might want to stay longer than the 45+30 day tourist visa? What will they say at airport to that? Thanks
I just reserved a booking in Thailand for 10/21/24 . When I arrive in Thailand my passport would be only 4 months until expires. I read Thailand requirement has a lesser requirement. However I read other sites it 6 months. I will renew this coming Monday however what do you know of Thailand policy. I have an American passport.
Thank You For Making This Incredibly Informative & Insightful Video!👍👍 At some point, maybe you can make one, regarding the various Long Stay Visas? Thanks Again!
hi how are things? something that is not clear to me is that if they ask you for the return flight and I intend to extend my stay, that return flight is no longer valid for me. how should i do it? thanks and regards
Arsen, arriving in Bangkok, no hotel booked and no return flight booked….. Will travel to Chaing Mia motorcycle tour and other destinations and leaving via Phuket. Tourist over 50 travelling solo. Will immigration give me a difficult time?
It's changed -now max 30 days on arrival -not 45. Doesn't make a lot of sense when it means we have to fly out and spend our money in Vietnam, Singapore or Malaysia instead -that way we get the full, extended vacation before returning back to our home country.
So for US citizens who are visa exempt for 45 days is there any immigration fee that has to be paid? Also can I carry usd equivalent of 10k instead of Thai baht?
Thanks for the reply. You know I couldn’t find the info about “visa exemption” being free. It’s all about extension by paying 1900 baht etc. one of my neighbors (us passport) was made to do visa on arrival with the 2200 baht. He was shocked bcoz he also knew it was “exemption” but couldn’t argue much with the immigration office as he was in a flight full of south Asians and the immigration officer just assumed the same process. He even tried to find the Thai embassy link where it mentions about no visa fee but couldn’t find any. As a result I was asking so that I’m not in a similar situation. Would you happen to know any link where it clearly says no fee for exemption etc?
Thanks Arsen for your update! I have a question though… I’m visiting Thailand next month from India and I have return flight from Bangkok to India, but at the same time I also want to visit Vietnam for couple days and be back to Bangkok airport at the right time for my flight back. So do I need transit visa or anything to change flight in the airport??? Please reply
I have booked my flights to BKK over Christmas and New Year this year. I am looking for a beach vibe. What is Phuket or Pattaya like over this time? Or maybe any other areas??
I want to go, but while I am there I want to see other countries. Is it better for me to get one entry visa and reapply at the airport or get the multiples entry? knowing that I will be in the country for only 15 days coming in and out
Hi, any update if Thailand will allow US citizens to stay in Thailand up to 45 days if you arrive after April 1, 2023? I’m there for 31 days after April 1st. Thanks
Just to be clear; after 45 days file for 30 day extension. I can do it again in the course of a year for a total of 150 days within a year? Or can I renew twice? For a total of 225 days.
Only twice 45+30 and if you do it yearly twice and extension again they could ask you why you come everytime and extend ... things are little bit strict these days.
@@LiveLoveThailand I'm thoroughly confused. Why do they allow you to do it if they have a problem with it. The obvious reason for wanting to go there is the mere attraction of the place. Right? Any input on this would be appreciated as is all your info up to now!!! 👍🇹🇭
Hi, do I need to bring 20,000 THB? I heard they have this requirement for entry. I don’t often use cash and prefer to use credit card/debit card. If they ask, can I show them my bank account balance? Thank you!

I am going to be in Thailand with my family and probably spent about 4 days in Bangkok end of March and early April. Do you know of a reliable car/driver to show us around. I am interested in booking a 10 hour day for a day or two. Thanks.

Hey buddy, I need to get something straight in my mind. The first visa you mention is No visa at all. I can enter country without a visa for 45 days? If so, why would anyone go with either of the other 2 options? Once I'm in the country 45 days can I renew for 45 more? 👍🇹🇭 Good video, thanks!!!
The No visa is called Visa Exempt. It's good for 45 days and you can renew it for another 30 days. There are only 64 countries that are eligible for Visa Exempt. the other countries must choose one of the other options mentioned in the video.
