    Shane had a great mind for wrestling...why would you not listen to him for advice...Dixie Carter was a knucklehead.

      Zac Craze Exactly! He knows wrestling. Dixie doesnt. She's clueless.

      Dixie Carter is the dumbest incompetent woman to ever run a wrestling promotion

    I loved TNA, I seriously hoped the best for it! It has its moments but once they hired Hogan it sucked

    Your advice should have been to never, ever, under any circumstances, listen to Vince Russo.

      I think never, ever, under any circumstances whatsoever hire Vince Russo would be even better advice.

      Vince Russo, Dixie Carter, hulk Hogan, and Eric Bischoff was the reason that TNA SUCKED

      @@DavidLucas-oj6ju If back in the day you were going to hire Bischoff and Hogan, the last thing you should do is have anything to do with Russo.

    Shane Douglas is a gem in this business. If Hunter was smart, he would hire this guy as a creative writer.

    • @TheHannibalTV
      @TheHannibalTV  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      They'd rather sign Mick Foley's kids and Ultimate Warriors Widow as writers they both have jobs doing that rather than a guy like Shane.

      @@TheHannibalTV unfortunately you are right. Its all about clout when it comes to raising up second or third generation family members. The only thing that is saving the WWE right now is its market share and historical archives.

    Ive never been Shane Douglas fan but like any interview interesting to listen to..HOWEVER, he is correct. Any wrestling promotion can be successful as along as its works "FOR IT SELF" do not compete. Eventually it will climb the ladder from local, regional and eventually with any kind of miracle national. DO NOT COMPETE. Like any actor/actress if your any good, talented, "HAVE IT" You will get the attention, like ECW word of mouth.

      David Frederick Hi. He is a really cool and nice guy. I see him at the grocery store alot and he never turns down conversation. He was also my substitute teacher way back in 1990. 😃✌️

      @@truebaimar9923 BS! If they ever had more star power than WWE, how is it that at no time did a TNA PPV sell as good as a WWE PPV? WWE’s all time worst PPV, ECW December to dismembered, still has a higher buy rate than TNA’s HIGHEST PPV buy rate.
      At no time did TNA have more star power than WWE, that’s just ridiculous.

    TNA never truly had the 'it factor' they needed. AJ was their star, and they had a lot of other really great guys, but nobody on the caliber of an Austin or Rock or even Triple H. AJ is meh on the mic and great in the ring, pretty comparable to Bret Hart. They were solid competition in the mid 2000's when the WWE were going through a transition phase of losing their full-time big names but blew it by bringing in Russo, Bischoff and Hogan of all people.

    I've never been a fan of his now I'll give him one credit Jeff Jarrett, he was smart enough or enough of a con man to find a billionaire to fund a company he would run, book and be the face of despite never being good at any of those things. he kept the money mark away from anyone who knew better, used her daddy's money to live out his dream of pretending he's Jerry Lawler. Jeff got sent home from the whole Karen Angle thing, might they turned a profit the year he lost power just a thought. Dixie was away from Jeff instead of one person anyone who knew just a little about wrestling, oh and really the guys who knew a lot could tell her the sun was blue regarding wrestling and she'd believe it.
