Another idea would be add observers to the interior of the shape too, and cover with normal blocks the safe honeycombs to prevent cheating

Maybe when the player breaks the block the player jump in the pit and break the wall inside. Its better with carpet.

It's better to use Instant Damage II arrows so the player dies
Also use death 2 arrows so they die 1 shot

also keep in mind: cover the observers so they cannot cheat by looking at the observer pattern
to prevent this, put another observer on top of the observer pattern, then cover the red stone and lower observers.
