No bad weather, only unprepared people? I like it! Reminds me of the virtuous woman in Proverbs 31:21, “She is not afraid of snow for her household, for all her household is clothed in scarlet.”
You two have done a great job setting everything up to keep all the animals warm and safe I know it was alot of work. Now keep yourselves safe and warm
Stay safe and warm. Thanks for your pre snow videos. I'm sure all people don't know what it's like in the life of a farming family. God Bless you and yours.
Oklahoma here, we got just a smithering of what you guys were getting, single digit with wind chills and a dusting of snow.. Cold for sure but thankfully we popped out of it today and by days end was pushing nearly 50. Hope all is well, of course all that are in path of these storms are always in our prayers. Looking for the next video to see how bad it was and how you guys mitigated thru it. Stay warm!
Good luck with the storm.. stay safe and warm. Hope everyone 2 and 4 legged get through it ok. Just went through a snow storm Christmas week, had 14”of snow. Then a week later had heavy rain that caused flooding. Is always tiring getting the farm and animals ready and dealing with feeding, keeping ice broke off water and anything else that happens after. Does the New Holland have a plug in to keep it warm and easier to start in freezing weather? Sondra got a good arm shoulder and back vibration session from the big barking squealing piglet! Lol! been there myself. Is hard to hold on to the big ones when they get rowdy and try to bite too.
100% agree.. If I close my eyes and just listen to her talk I am transported back to hearing my Grandmother, I have a feeling there is much wisdom to be learned from Sondra..
I would recommend a Reese hitch on the front also. Buy a 9k or higher winch, with at least 4 shackles and 8 D-rings. Have the winch placed on a receiver platform so you can move it from front or back if needed. Also place it on the back of a tractor if needed to hoist or pull anything. I use my 12.5k winch at least once a month. Pulled my F250 and a tractor bigger than yours at the same time with the winch and shackles. I also use the winch to tension fence lines when needed. Limited to your imagination.
You all will be ok. I'm sure of it. Here in northern Missouri where cleaned up from the crap an been in to town 30 miles already. Would live to see more info about your chicken tractors if possible. Love the channel, be safe.
Nice sweatshirt. #goheels I was reminded of the little piggy who went wee wee weeeee all the way home. My boys sure paid attention to that part! 😃 Hope you guys made it through ok. ❤️❄️
Our 8 inches here in my part of East Tennessee changed to a drizzle of rain. We’ll see if NWS Morristown issues another apology like they did last time lol
I don't comment often but just wanted to say you folks are in my prayers. 🙏🏻
Thanks so much. Appreciate y’all watching

Wish I lived closer. I'd love to hang out with Saundra. She's awesome.
Yes she is! She’s a pretty good Farm hand

Your videos keep getting better and intriguing. I love watching.
I would have put the other tractor with the grapple on it in the barn too. If you have any downed trees etc, it too will be ready for removal.
It’s in the hay barn. I did take the grapple off but can put it back on in a jiffy.
Best of luck ya'll, waiting to see you on the otherwise if this storm.
You got it. Shoot another video today. Should be out tomorrow.

Great idea. I need to get a winch on a receiver. That would be really handy.

Weather men and John Deere parts guys are the only profession you can be wrong 50% of the time and still keep your job. 🤣
@@SheratonParkFarms ain’t that the dang truth. Got half the state shut down and still gets a bonus
We’re soft here in the south…when it comes to snow storms. So well said lol! Preparedness is key.

How much did y’all end up getting? We had maybe 4 inches here in stokes county. Was mostly sleet for us
Probably about 7 inches overall. Had some sleet and freezing rain too.
In Sweden we say ”det finns inget dåligt väder, bara dåliga kläder” there is no bad weather, just bad clothes.
Is this weather unusual for y'all?
Yeah a little bit. We get some snow off and in but this one was predicted to be a big one for us.
there is no bad weather only inappropriate clothing -Canadians 😆
Your hose on that piglets will be damage
