No brother, not only for jee, I am a 4th year IT student in NSUT and I can say that maths used more prominently than physics anyday as, Computer Science subjects requires maths, higher studies in physics is almost equivalent to doing degree in maths, higher level chemistry is majorly maths, AI/Machine Learning/Deep Learning/Natural Language Processing/Computer Vision all are based on maths, quantitative finance ie quant jobs in HFTs that IIT CS choose is purely maths, doing PhD and publishing research paper requires maths, ECE/ME/Civil/EE all engineerings are based on maths only you see very decent amount of physics but heavy mathematics
Those who appear for govt job also require maths 🗿like SSC CGL/CHSL
