Do you guys take new pilots? I'm looking for people to fly with on a regular basis (I own the Dora and 109, P-47 and P-51, I have all maps). I'm no pro, but I'm also not a complete beginner with warbirds.
The Mossie is not to underestimate. Especially if it's loaded lightly. It can easily turn with single engine fighters. It struggles a bit in the vertical though.
What plane would you all think I should get when I buy in tthis game. On warthunder, i was a Fw 190 f4 player or the 109 k4 so what war plane you think I might be better in?
DCS is a completely different story. Managing all the systems, complex flight model and dynamics. Your opponents are also going to be very different. The K4 is certainly the better dogfighter compared to the 190 D9 or A8. But in a tactical environment, the 190 can hold its own due to its firepower. It is also easier to fly in general.
P-51, Bf 109 and Fw 190 D-9 are the best performing planes in the game right now, but Spitfire, Mosquito and Fw 190 A-8 are fun to fly as well even though they are not the best overall.
You must watch the first part. The shot from the Mustang's perspective shows the fight between JG7 and the Spits from afar. It looks cool because of the contrails.
Wouldn't you love if your battle would "influence" evolution of the ground troops moving into attacking position, where a battle would have ensued, in another "server" from another FPS game, where depending on your actions, they would actually have air cover or not and they would get bombed? We never reached that level of gaming in 2024, still.
Having that in 1 game which simulates air battles like a flight sim and ground battles like a FPS would indeed be awesome. A fusion of DCS and Arma if you will.
Woaw! the footage is incredible! I stay away from multiplayer because despite loving the game and ww2 aviation to bits, I stick to histirical campaigns (mainly by reflected) because idon't play with enough regularity, but maybe next winter I'l try to get involved! :)
Glad you like it :) How realistic and immersive your MP experience is is basically determined by three factors: - Mission design - Flying with a group that know what they are doing - Your opponent does the above as well. Scale is always an issue in MP due to performance impact but flying against and with real players makes more than up for it.
@@IJG7Official yeh... Reflected makes amazing historical campaigns but the AI behavior unfortunately is not on par with his standards... The way they climb.. they can't dive bomb, they bomb horizontally which breaks the immersion for fighter bombers... And of course fighting against and flying alongside real humans you can communicate with is great. I have your chanel I'll know where to find you guys when I'll feel ready to invest some time in the adventure. In the mean time, have fun! Keep on keeping this incredible part of history alive! Greetings from France (a few kilometers from the western border of the Normandy map actually!😉).
always great content from your channel, well done!
nice video, nice teamwork ;) makes me want to start again with il2

Yep. Just check out our discord. All info is in there :)
Good flying, VERY good camera work, nice video. Impressed with the Mozzies performance!

Awesome video major!!!🎉
Thanks :)
hey, 1:18min is a mustang while you say you fight a spitfire!
ID mistakes happen 😃 Point is that the foe was rightly identified as foe 😃

Paying 200 bucks for DCS-something you can get now for 20 when you buy IL2 Battle of Normandy😅😅😅
It's not the same... I fly both... And the flight model makes all the difference... IL2 doesn't even get close in that regard.
