He appeared at our cafe more than a few times in the 90s,we have never seen him live with Tif. Fred seems to be returning to early roots,love everything he does,thanks for the input!
@@normgrinstead2348 Interesting. Me and my group of fellow musicians/fans were quite active in following Eaglesmith’s career in the late 90’s and early 2000’s. Got to know him and his band members somewhat and even hired Chris Knight for a single at a local music bar around this time as well after being exposed to his music through Eaglesmith. Tiff has been pretty active with Fred the last decade but I kind of moved on after Fred got rid of the Flying Squirrel’s and started performing with an all female band that included Tiff sharing hosting duties. Not that I don’t like them, just different and not really my cup of tea. Point is, I havnt really kept up to what Fred has been doing the last decade or so, so I probably know just as little as you do. Last tour me and my friends were actively following him was probably Milly’s and Balin’ CD’s. Glad you didn’t take my comment to be hostile. I certainly didn’t mean it to be negative. Stumbled on Fred and Tiff during COVID, and I can't believe I hadn't heard of them earlier! I think Fred was from Guelph in Southern Ontario, and his wife is from Texas. Great couple they definitely compliment each other! 🇨🇦
I have loved every phase of Fred's career. But there is little doubt that Tif Ginn adds so much. Love the shows where she opens with her own numbers. There are some good versions of her "Getaway Car" on youtube. Worth looking up.
I don’t know if Fred writes his songs or if Gin participates. However the songs that come from them are remarkable. Tremendous songwriting skills. Thanks Fred and Gin.
Where was this performed? And when? Great little get together. Fred never disappoints and Tiff is such a nice addition! Saw Fred and the boys in Calgary around 2005. Was an awesome concert in a small bar.
