    Frank, I appreciate all the value you put out for us. The whole reason I was able to become a painter was because people like you , jen from jekyll, etc are generously mentoring thousands of people over youtube. Ive been airbrushing for 3-4 years and I would agree that I have been starting to come into my own, getting more stencils and techniques down, and experimenting with new paint. Keep up the great work, we are forever grateful🙏🏼

    This was eye opener, the exact reason I have not got started yet. I have ton blanks like in the 200's but too scared to screw them up. The painting although skillful looks easy ....its knowing the paints and mixing overwhelms me to no end.

    Great information. Thank you!!! I’ve been doing basic patterns for a few months. I’m so glad I stumbled on to air brushing crank baits. It’s fun challenging and I have good looking baits I couldn’t afford if it wasn’t for guys like you. Thank you for all your videos. 👍

    Good vid. I just started painting and really enjoy it. Nothing like catching a nice fish on a custom pattern

    Thanks for all the great advice, Frank. I've watched every video of your sense the beginning and a few of them at least twice. I have a hand full of
    painters I been watching religiously for a few years learning the ins and outs of airbrushing. I've been collecting all of my supplies for a couple of
    years and I think I finally have time to start my new hobby. I've got art and painting experience but like you said I needed to learn all of the different
    mix options for all of the different products. Thanks!!!! again for the detailed instructions when you paint. I feel now the air pressures will be something
    I'm going to have to learn as I go along but from what I think I know so far start with low pressures and move up from there for the best results.
    Thanks again Frank for a great channel!!!!

    I really enjoy your videos and was wondering if you can do a breakdown of your paint booth, whether it’s custom made or store bought. And all the features like your lighting to ventilation. A great admirer of all your work and this video helped me into understanding what to look for before painting my first lure. I really like how you emphasized the different types of paints to inks and acrylics. I would have been that guy to have all the paints and no understanding of how the work in conjunction with each other. Once again thanks for all your input and sharing your experience with us all. Bless you and your family my brother.

    Love this type of video. Your creativity is next level. I am always waiting for your upload.
    Video idea would be pick one of the several great topics you brought up and address it. For example why you use what type of paint. Would hate for you to stop.

    Good advice! I need to experiment and work on learning more about my paints, pressures and using coatings. Only been at it about 2 months but enjoying it immensely. Your videos are very helpful. I like them too because most are under 20 minutes and you review the colors and techniques at the end. Good stuff. Thank you for doing these videos!

    Why is it I see some people not using a spray booth and some do? Is it necessary?

    • @customlurepainter
      @customlurepainter  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      My opinion is yes, booth will extract paint fumes, keeps over spray confined to one area

    • @michaelbarbieri9871
      @michaelbarbieri9871 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you. Maybe you can do a video on your spray booth. I also notice you don’t use the helping hands. Is that a fly Vice you use?

    • @customlurepainter
      @customlurepainter  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes it’s a large fly tying vise, just personal preference, I don’t care for helping hands

      I have picked up so much information from you on painting. I been painting now about 3-4 months now. I just recently joined lure making show and tell on Facebook and that group has a lot of nice guys in it. Thank you sir for your videos.
