- Welcome to the first lesson in our new Mandarin Chinese Vocabulary Builder Series. This series is designed to help you quickly and effectively build up your Chinese vocabulary with the most common and useful words and expressions.

I only recently came across your channel, and think it is really fantastic. My motivation to brush up on Mandarin is because of you, because you really drive home your lessons in a way I am able to follow. I wonder if you could do a beginner lesson for amateur photographers like me, who have difficulty in saying expressions like:
*Turn your body to the side but look at the camera.
*Tilt your head a bit to the left/right
*Look down/up
*Take a step back
*Cross your arms
*Stand further apart from each other
*Come nearer so everyone can be in the picture/selfie
I have not come across any TH-cam channel that covers photography expressions in greater depth. I am sure other aspiring photographers/hobbyists will appreciate learning these phrases, especially when travelling to China. By the way, I love your attire. You look very elegant.

Can you make a video explaining pronunciations ??? I loveeeeeeeee your videos so much. I watch them all. I need help with Shi rising tone vs shi falling tone. In books ....they explain the shi falling tone as SHUR. I don't really hear people sound out the urrrrrrr SHHurrrrr.
