Is it better than the MOVO VXR10 PRO

I know that it's over a year late but the VXR10 is a shotgun mic whereas this is a lav mic. Both have their use cases but, if you don't want to be within a foot or two of the camera, you should get a lav mic, such as this one.

Can it be mounted on a tripod?

I know this is a year late but, yes, there's a screw at the bottom of the screw for the camera/phone grip that can be placed on top of a mount for most tripods with a 1/8 connector (the standard).

Those plastic camera grip handles are absolutely unusable, too much springy movement... Movo I'm a fan of tho
