One suggestion for playing the Bb - if you play the preceding F chord as a barre chord, you can just take that same shape down to the 6th fret and play the Bb there. It does force you to travel back up to play the C chord, but I found it much easier than the alternative.
I love that this dude who records simple videos in his room has become my go to for learning beatles songs. Both him and jpm2u just have a great ear they apply to their love of the Beatles. Those two, along with the Shut Up and Play guy are my favorites. Ok, let’s add Justin Guitar so I can call them the Fab Four
Scott is right on the C#...not being a C natural, because the song is over the A7 at that point,(even though you started in Dm) already playing a C# on the B string.
Hey Dude, Great job! Chords work very well and those cool note fills after A7 add even more substance to the song. You made it very easy to understand and taught this to me in under 10 minutes. That G chord with the added C note on B string really completes it and resolves wonderfully to the G chord, pure Beatles! Thanks. With great gratitude and respect, Hooch
That G chord is called Gsus or in full, a G suspended 4th. So, the 4th note b is suspended to a c. Justly called 'suspended' because releasing it creates a tension to return to the tonica, the C chord. Sorry for being the wiseacre. Thanks for this tutorial, this song is deeply meaningful to me now so I started singing it too. I think it is one of the masterpieces of the Beatles, which includes Brian Epstein for the magnificent arrangement. Wish I could include that horn somehow but I'm not much of a guitarist.
same! you do a good job teaching a guitar transcription of the song, especially the little ending G chord flourish for the chorus, since that really makes the whole thing wrap together nice.
Thanks for all the help ur a cool dude and ur vids really inspire but i hate the addidas sticker messes up a beaut of a guitar Why ? do ya ever play the keyboard behind tks for ur time
when you play those single notes at the end of the chorus: A-D-E-F-E-D-C-D - don't you think it is C# instead of C? Well, love your tutorials anyway... ;)
It looks like it's harder to instruct using tabs than saying the actual notes. I'm old school. So I was like, Oh yeah, that's a G! (or whatever note it was). Thanks, appreciate the video.
Which original? Of course I know you mean from Revolver, but there are so many bootlegs, different takes, arrangements and keys. Such a beautifully painful song, that is not as well known as it should be. I think Sir Paul put so much into this because of his relationship with Jane Asher ending, which must have been profound to him, considering many better known songs of theirs do not have as many versions on tape.

Or just remove the middle finger on the f chord to
that helps thanks!

You’re a good teacher with very simple instructions.Thanks.
The Bb in the verse is a Bb7. Also, the bass note on the "no sign of love behind the tears" section, on the word "the" is a C# everytime, not a C. ;-)

That’s not “For No One” ..... that’s for ‘Everyone’ ! Great lesson once again. Thanks !

I like using 4th fret 5th string rather than 3th fret 5th string for the picking melody.
Thanks for the lesson
We miss you, Mr. Rose! Where did you go?
I think I'll sing that at Karaoke tonight. Beer sales should go up since it's kind of a downer song. Beautiful though!
Curious. Did that work out? Haha
also this is a very beautiful song done very well!
Thanks so much! :) My friend and I are learning this as a guitar/trumpet duet. This made it so much easier, thanks again!

Thanks for all the help ur a cool dude and ur vids really inspire but i hate the addidas sticker messes up a beaut of a guitar Why ? do ya ever play the keyboard behind tks for ur time
I'm curious if Paul tuned down half a step when he recorded this. The original sounds much closer to B major than C major.
Very nice, thx
Great. Thanks!
Very good, Thanks from Mexico :)
Веселий дядька))) дякую.
I always play it with an Am as well not an Am7. Good job however!
You teach perfectly! Thank you! ⚘

Well, love your tutorials anyway... ;)
That's great!
nice...looks like what paul's doing on his old clips
Thanks so much...
thanks mate

Yup, that's a C# I use my pinkie to pick it up :)
Subbed! Good stuff
thanks - you made it easy! Plus you have a pleasant accent.... Kentucky?
Pretty sure it's Australian
THANK YOU
I believe the second chord is a Cadd9/B chord!
Thank you
Thank you.
Thank you!
great job as always ;)
may be just play it all to start with for the most advanced. Cheers!
I use my index finger but might try what Pete does.
Adidas rules !! Tx much
thank you so much, i request the leson
Thank youu :))
That chord you're thinking of is Gsus4
What's that first chord you're using look like?
Is there any substitute for the Aflat?
It can be called G4/B.
great lesson but what tuning is this in? playing along in standard tuning to the album does not sound right at all.
It's in B, so down tuning your guitar half a step should work fine, I'm sure you could figure out another arrangement though.
Soy el comentario número 100
An easier way to play the Bb is to bar your ring finger across the top 4 strings

Its a g7 at the end of chorus
Watch your profanity at 3:50 - "Fuck the fifth string" LOL
What key is this in? Is it C?
For my personal use: 3:18
B over C
it would be cool if you played all first and then get into details
It's a cmaj7th.
acordes/chords?
soy de mexico
you've got a little mustache on your guitar!
The Beatles do not play it in this key they do it in B its hard to believe theres noone who understand thats
Attentive Chap ı followed footage of Paul playing it acoustically this way.
You got the wrong note on "A love that should have happENED years." It's a half step, not a whole step.
