This works perfectly fine in Sotenbori, but in Kamurocho, no. At move 22, he does a completely different move every time, fouling this method up, so be warned, it ONLY works on the dude shown in the video, in Sotenbori. It works EVERY TIME, but ONLY on him, and ONLY if the opponent goes first.

Well this video shows sotenbori not kamurocho what did you expect? I saw like 10 comments of the same thing on this video which makes no sense because the video was never shot in KAMUROCHO dm asf
It took a silly amount of attempt to have the ai go first but this worked perfectly when it finally happened. Thanks for the great guide.

Thank you! I did it going first. I just moved my very bottom left piece up once and the AI went exactly like he did in your video still
It worked! I had to have the exact same conditions for it to work tho: Sotenbori, daytime, leaving take backs ON and just not using them. Otherwise there were always diversions.

No duh its not selphie never said that or did that in the video and if you're having trouble with this download shogi on your phone play against Computer on Hard difficulty and flip the phone upside down and copy the AI movements as yours and vice versa on the phone. Ez win

This doesn’t work. The AI stops doing the same thing after the first check.
Did you use the right tile/start first? You cannot do either.
Can't believe how slow this is. Can't you cut the video???
Wish I could say this worked out for me, but like others have said, after the first check it all goes down the toilet. Maybe there's RNG inside of the RNG, and in my 5 attempts I got the wrong RNG...who knows 😆

@@nierbacon7060 yeah I ended up doing it to that guy, but later found the offers Shogi Sotenbori place you unlock late into the game offers challenges

doesn't work, AI algorithm is random. Why upload lies?
Quit it with your frustration. I have not uploaded lies, you clearly didn't accept the correct option within the game. I have done this over and over and never had a problem and going by this video, neither did 62 other people. Re-do it, trust me.
