So many fantastic light gun games from the 90's; The House of the Dead 1/2, Virtua Cop 2, Elemental Gearbolt, Time Crisis, heck... even Die Hard Trilogy was awesome with its on-rail gun segments!

Elemental Gearbolt had a deluxe edition that came with a metal suitcase and a gold gun which goes for insane prices now on the used market.
The Moorhuhn, or Crazy Chicken, franchise of games started in 1999 as a freeware score shooting game that was tied into a Johnnie Walker brand whiskey ad campaign, of all thing. The original game was developed in Germany. 'Moorhuhn' means grouse, probably because Johnnie Walker is a Scottish whiskey brand and hunting grouses in moors is a thing there? Since the original game was free and the internet was becoming a widespread household thing just then it saw massive success and spawned a lot of merchandise of its own, including additional games from almost all genres.
It was kind of a crazy here in Germany. White collar workers used to share the game via EMAIL since the filesize was only about 1mb. Guess gdp even dropped for a few months.
Rescue Shot Bubibo was also released in Europe as Rescue Shot. It was also a fairly common game, I had it... as a bootleg. It used to be sold everywhere as a Pokémon game for the Playstation!
Ah, seeing footage of the first Death Crimson game sort of explains the quality (or lack thereof) of Death Crimson OX on the Dreamcast. Another quality video from DA SACK.
Fun fact: Área 51 ran on the COJAG, which was a improved Atari Jaguar and all of the aliens and zombies are actually stop-motion models. Maximum Force also ran on the COJAG as well ;-)
Joe, you need to play S.C.U.D. with TWO light guns if you want to stand a chance. Play with another player or just yourself with 2 light guns "Akimbo" style. Give the game another chance, it's really fun.
I remember the arcade version of Crypt Killer having an absolutely insanely large arcade unit, even for wide-screen light-gun games of the time. I was always disappointed we never got home ports by Sega for the first two Jurassic Park games and The Ocean Hunter and Lets Go Jungle, those are by far my favorite gun games of all time, if not some of my favorite games of all time. I would love to see a on-rails spin-off/hidden mini-game adaption of the TimeSplitters series.
Crypt Killer did come out for the Saturn in the US, I have a copy of it. Also for Lethal Enforcers on PS1, I used composite on an old CRT and it worked better then RGB on my PVM.
Top notch job you guys. Are you guys gonna do a post-32 bit episode? Lots of great Light Gun games on the Dreamcast, PS2, Wii & PS3 even if they weren't technically light guns by the HD era.
This is the greatest show on TH-cam, right next to H3H3. Keep up the great work, guys.
Oh man, I remember Area 51 in the arcades. The hotel I stayed in the first time I went to Disneyworld had it in its arcade, and me and my brother used to play it between trips to the park... so cheesy, even when it was new. I had forgotten all about it! Thanks for the unexpected nostalgia!
Usually I drop everything for your videos. But I'm photosensitive. Tried it with just the sound. Wasn't enough. Thanks for the disclaimer up front.
The best channel on youtube hands down. Brilliant episode!
Cool...Been waiting for this one. I like the gun for House of the dead.
