Instead I'll just say, "The fabled Thnikkaman bids you farewell in the usual manner."

That's the kind of edgy stuff I want from Studio C, not the pandering humor they have now. Season 2 easily tops a lot of their seasons. I'm not sure if season 2 or 1 is better but it's close. It's real close.
Maybe it’s like a haunted thing going on. The music comes out of nowhere, anticipating the arrival of the masked man on the elephant and the baby elephant (these are ghosts), and when the man shoots the BB gun, the ghosts display their abilities by making the BB gun to eerie impossible things? Yeah it’s far fetched but it’s the only way I could begin to make sense of it.
This is what happened when my group presented our radio mystery show. We didn't have many of the tools needed for the script so we had to improvise and use our voices.
Honestly, I think that would be a lot more fun than using the instruments. It would probably be more challenging too, since you would have to concentrate on not bursting out laughing at each other

Spot on! How did the actors prepare for this? They got the sound of 40's radio acting down pat. My dad has an obsession with old radio, so I grew up listenning to the real shows. I thought I'd need real stitches after laughing so hard the first time I watched it (ok, so maybe I've watched it more than once...like every day since I first saw it ;)). I was sure I'd cracked a spleen or something. Can't wait to show it to my dad.
+scrap preraph Yes they did great job with the sketch overall. im a lover of old time radio too and enjoyed this sketch. they really got that 40s/50s radio vibe going on, sounds authentic. And is one of their funniest sketches IMO. I seen it for the first time right after their famous Scott Sterling vid, and have seen it a couple times since and it still cracks me up today. Studio is one of the best sketch shows on TH-cam right now and can rival SNL and MADtv, but its gives more of a Whitest Kids You Know(2000s) or MTVs The State(early 90s) vibe. if you know those shows.
In the old abandoned house Rex stood at the window and Sheila huddled in the corner terrified. Outside the rain fell loudly. The wind raged and the thunder clapped. "oh Rex I'm so frightened I don't believe we'll make it out of here. " He walked to her "Look at me doll face. We'll make it out of here. I swear." He leaned in to kiss her for the first time but then, a knock at the door. Rex and Sheila froze. Then the door creaked open. Rex started walking to the door. "Oh Rex, do be careful." "I will Sheila." He pushed the door open but there was nothing there. Just this song in the wind. Rex slammed the door and then all was quiet. "What was that Rex?" "It was Just a song Shiela. With a lot of odd percussion at he end." They listened again but all they heard was the whistling of the wind. Rex was so nervous he could hear the sound of his own heartbeat. "Rex you're trembling." Sheila walked over to Rex. "You're a classy broad Sheila." ...
... But right at that moment there were 3 more knocks at the door and it started to creak open again. And once again that eerie tune. They were mystified by the song. Rex snapped out of it and slammed the door again and locked it. "I don't want to know what that was." "Me neither Rex." All they could hear was the babbling brook outside the house. Then suddenly the unimaginable happened. A masked man sitting on an elephant burst into the room causing the entire side of the house to crumble. The elephant let out a cry and a baby elephant ran in and cried back. The man shot a b-b gun and the bullet shattered a window then Riquoted off a pot then a lamp then a chair then a beam then the lamp again and then landed on top of the stairs then rolled down the stairs faster and faster until it dropped in to a cup of water.
Top of the stairs, it's so high! Stairs, stairs, stairs, stairs, stairs, rolling down the stairs, rolling down the stairs, stairs, stairs, stairs, stairs, shoo! *Plop* This is probably my favorite sketch of all time!
