after watching like seven of your videos...just here to tell you what you probably already know at this stage of your life-- you have a fantastic sense of humor!
Terrific Video, One great thing is that you include the suggested retail price and, I didn't know you could get a honda or yamaha that cheap brand new, it makes me rethink if I ever want a 50 cc scooter. The presentation was professional and flawless. I also want to mention that making these videos often keeps me tuning in to your channel, and there's always something good to see when I do.
@@RamenOnWheels Thanks, I have a lot of harmonica stuff floating around online. My bread and butter is my podcast, Harp House. Keep up the cool scooter videos!
Its easy to pass the motorcycle written test to get your permit. Its best to get at least a 125cc cause you dont want to be holding up traffic on flat and uphill streets.
I’m wanting a scooter but I’m afraid to drive it for the first time- scared to death of tipping it over. Yes, I’ve watched your video on riding for beginner.
@@tootzy-the-roll I haven’t even been in a bicycle in over 20 years... 🤪 I wrote that comment a year ago and I STILL want one but have still been afraid. They even offered to let me test drive one and I was too scared. Ugh. I gotta just do it.
@@chickie3376 once you get the hang of it, it's VERY fun. But i would try to find someone who already has one so you can practice to make sure you enjoy riding a scooter
I can vouch for the Havana 50. Mine has over 5k miles and still running strong. The only thing I've done to it is oil changes every 500 miles or so and change the gear oil every other oil change. The only downfall is it's speed mine tops out about 40 and it requires 93 octane gas. But at 3 to 4 dollars a tank with about 100 mile range I'm not complaining.
Lol I'm mad you put Kymco at the beginning of the list and Honda towards the end even though Kymco used to make the parts for Honda for years lol. Plus you didn't mention Kymco's two-year warranty that's transferable to another buyer as long as the bike's has been maintained. Other wise ....... Like always great video 😃 👍 keep it up.

Please point out these scooters are only good in city environments. Top speed is 30 to 36 mph depending on manufacturer, in stock form. Cars have a dim view of you on the highway. Great video on all other points.

Save a lot of money and you put five or six thousand in it like you would brand-spanking-new last you longer as well too on God.😴🤦🤷🤷
See, I never got this whole stereotype with scooters. People say that they are ridden by people with DUI'S because they don't need a license. However, look at the actual laws and you will find that to legally ride even a 50cc, you do need a valid driver's license.... Hence why little kids aren't riding them around everywhere.
@@TheBlueBikeDoyle but, in 2018 South Carolina passed a law that says you need a Driver's license or a moped license for a 50cc bike and you always needed a Class M driver's license for 125s (technically it needs it for anything with more than 2bhp, but I doubt that is well enforced). So it is literally not even accurate in South Carolina.
@@verablack3137 good to know but it still fun to call them DUI Harleys. But on LivePD in Richland county SC seem like I heard them say if under 50cc all they had to do go to courthouse and fill out form and they could ride them. But maybe I heard it wrong.

The video would have been better if you put links in the description. Do you have a video about best powerful scooters? Some people need to travel over freeways or high speed bridges and need more speed than you get with 50cc.
I'm looking to get a scooter pretty soon, and I recently found a buddy 125cc for $1,800! It looks to be in great condition but Im going to look at it soon. I'll have to take classes and get my motorcycle license of course but would you say it's worth it? Would it be a bad idea to get over 50ccs as a newer rider? I do have lots of experience riding electric scooters (more specifically my razor metro scooter) so I'd think that plus the classes I'll have to take anyways would make it more worth it
