Such ADORABLE bugs! They look like they would be so much fun to stitch. Brilliant idea to color coordinate the thread and needles :) I think they would be cute to stitch on the cuff of our socks. I need a bee or grasshopper on my socks!!
Di Jones Hi Di....... Could you please tell me where you get those emojis? I've been wanting to include the odd one in my comments from time to time, but I haven't got a clue where to find them. LOL Thanks so much for your help!
Cheryl Taylor hi Cheryl... I work of my iPad and smart phone and at the bottom of the typing board there’s a happy face 😃 just tap on that. Or you could download the emoji app. Hope I was some help. Enjoy 👍👩💻💐
@@dijones2441 I'm basically computer illiterate. LOLOL I have a lap top and there are no emoji images on the keyboard. I'll try to download the app. Thanks so much for your help, Di!! Have a great day!
I loved seeing the bug class. What fun. I would like to take one of Sue's classes just to learn some of the stitches. I have her book, but there's nothing like the visual up front and personal class. Thanks for sharing the class with us. I like your trips through the Stitchin Post also. The threads are also so beautiful. See you in the next video.
you like me would love the Craftsy class... www.craftsy.com/embroidery/classes/embroidering-texture-dimension-by-hand/35648?cr_maid=101803&cr_linkid=495_101803&cr_source=Instructor&couponCode=25OFF_SELECT_LISTING_35648_SUE_SPARGO&cr_medium=Sue%20Spargo
Oh what fun. Love the needle and thread spool matching colors, such a neat idea. Bugs are so cute. Love the bees. Anna....I fix a cup of tea and watch you....like having a visit with a sewing friend. Thank you.
What a fantastic idea!! To coordinate the spool colour with the the needle! Amazing. That will sure make life easier. Wow!! Do you ladies ever do intricate work. Those bugs are so much fun.Oh you just have so much with that needlework. I'm not ready to advance yet from machine blanket stitch to what you do, but that's my goal! Have a blast and I sure hope you feel better after your blog. It's good to do things that will take your mind off sadness from time to time. Don't forget it, but you do need a little break. Take care, Anna.
I`m not a bug person either but did to a gold work bug class years ago by a different teacher. A moth(hopefully the only moth in my home),a dragonfly and a bumble bee framed in gold frames and hung up. Enjoy your class. One of my sister`s has been to one of Sue`s classes. Happy Stitching.
How fun Anna...love the teeny birds wall hanging....gosh that was cute....I liked seeing the bugs the gals were stitching...thankyou for the info on the color coded threads n needles...hope you had fun..🌻🐝
Oh Anna, never worry about how many times you take us through a quilt shop with you.....as in *real life* we just can't get our eyes full of the beauties we catch a glimpse of when we go to one. Do Shop Hops not exist for just such fantastical moments?! 🤗 Thankyou! Thankyou for taking us along whenever you can!
Bug a Phobic?Me too. Need to learn Sues stitches, but can't seem to get past the dye breakout. Took a year to work thru that. Finally healed. Had to cancel Olde world quilt shop in Az and was so disappointed
Another great video Anna! I see you holding your tongue ""Just so"" to make those stitches just right. Some of those bee wings look like needle tatting. Thanks for another look in the Stitching Post. As far as needles go I will use the finest needle that I can comfortably get my thread through, but that's just my thing.
I don’t mean to “bug” you, but have you ever noticed the concentration looks on quilters’ faces when they are trying so hard to get it just right? I am sure I do the same. The bugs are so great! There’s always something new to see in a quilt shop so come back to the Stitching Post again. 👏😄

Sorry. I replayed the video and found it. Thank you for all your trips. Love them.
Ok, those bugs are adorable, unlike the real ones!!! What fun and the colors are gorgeous!!!
I agree stitching bugs is so much more fun than finding one in your bed!!!
Those bees were so adorable! I would love to take a class with Sue...thanks for taking us along!
They are fun and enjoyable!
The needle and thread matching is a great idea. Love the bugs
she is coming out with a bug book!!!

I am so supported by being connected to so many wonderful people...as for stitching a step at a time and in no time the embellishing starts to expand!
So we need a picture of the bugs and critters you stitched during the class! Love those grasshoppers. Can’t wait to see your finished dragonfly.
I am a little intimidated by the grass hopper but when I see Sue in January I am going to try and get her to go over it with me again.
I may have to try one on my own, don’t know if I’ll see her anytime soon.

Loved every second of this video, bugs and all🐩 Glenda and the 10 lb poodle Mackenzie
smooches to Mackenzie!

OK...I would never do a moth...they freak me out with their crazy flying!!! LOL
fantastic, thanks. I will be trying these stitches as soon as I can find Sue's book of stitches.
you can find them on her website :) www.suespargo.com/index.php

Love the bumblebee bees!!! Too cute.
my favorite!
It's classes like this that makes me wish I wasn't in Florida. NorthWest. Yes! Thanks again for letting me tag along.
Well....you need to make a road trip!
What a fun class that must have been. I like the new happy music G picked out for the beginning. :)
yeah he has a knack for finding or creating new music!
Bug a Phobic?Me too. Need to learn Sues stitches, but can't seem to get past the dye breakout. Took a year to work thru that. Finally healed. Had to cancel Olde world quilt shop in Az and was so disappointed
such a bummer....think flannel!
Always fun to go along with you!
Another great video Anna!

yeah...sometimes the tongue action makes the stitches look better, LOL
It’s so fun to watch you concentrating so hard😍
Were you one of my teachers, LOL
Love all the BUGS! TFS.
The colour needles matching the thread is brilliant!!!!! So much fun 😊
Thanks Anna for the video looks fab, I believe Sue is coming to our quilt festival next year in Johannesburg I just hope I can get there. 😊
OMG...you have got to get there!!!
I met Sue at festival. Her samples were so perfect !! I also mentioned to her that you and I are friends. She said lovely things about 💞
She is a sweet heart and the most supportive of instructors! Hope life has been treating you well :)
That was awesome. Thank You
me ha encantado tu clase siempre se aprende algo .gracias
Thank you.
j'adore votre travail ma grande
Fabulous? Well not yet I'm afraid. But I'll continue the march. .
Question, do the matching needle tubes fit inside the thread spool? That would be easy for traveling.
nope but a great idea!!!
Fun little bugs❤️
Love going along on your adventures. I may have missed it, but what was the name of the quilt shop.
The Stitchin' Post...one of my favorites for inspiration!
I don’t mean to “bug” you, but have you ever noticed the concentration looks on quilters’ faces when they are trying so hard to get it just right? I am sure I do the same. The bugs are so great!
There’s always something new to see in a quilt shop so come back to the Stitching Post again. 👏😄
LOL...oh yeah and sometimes it requires some tongue action to get the stitch just right! LOL
This weird, seeing multiple replies of my response to your response below. Wonder what’s happening!
Are Sue Spargo’s threads always at Stitchin’ Post or just when she has a class?
yes they carry a rack of her threads, wool and patterns
Almost by-pass your video. Didn't recognize you, are you losing weight? You look great🤗
LOL...oh yeah life has changed since we had to make dietary/lifestyle changes for G's health :)
