I was at Disney today and saw you filming! I was too late to say hi in person and wasn't going to forfeit my rope drop place in line for Rise, but wanted to say hi and thank you for all the videos! 😊 Hope you enjoyed your day!
I waited in that line for 10 minutes, but ultimately had other things to do when Rise didn’t open at rope drop. My day was busy, but good. Always a great time at Disneyland, even if I don’t ride any rides. I hope YOU had a great day as well.
My family and I met you in front of Mr Toads. You were very humble and appreciative. You are our favorite Disney vlogger bar none. Keep up the good work!
LARGE MICKEY COOKIE MENTIONED!!! I always pick one of these up for myself whenever I’m at Downtown Disney. I always break off little pieces of it every so often as I’m walking and in the Hotel like you said!
Hi! My sister and I passed by you by the Pirates entrance and I was too nervous to blurt out hi. You helped my first Disney trip be the best ever vacation ever. I felt like a pro telling my sister stuff even tho it was really just all stuff from your channel lol My fav tip was the asparagus skewers from bengal bbq, my sister and I went back 2 times cause of those dang pork belly ones too. Thank you so much for all your video’s!
Great video as always Traver!🥤🥨🍿I’m craving Disneyland snacks now but too bad I live so far away lol! (BC Canada) thanks for the hard work you put into your videos I enjoy them a lot!
This isn't really related to this video but I'm in several Disney groups on Facebook and just came across a thread of which channels to watch for tips and the majority of the comments mentioned you and how much they love your videos! Just thought you might want to know 😃 I literally have your videos playing constantly when im cleaning my house 😂your videos have helped us plan all of our trips! Keep them coming!
Love the snacks! Great idea to share a list of shareable as well! 🤩 Budget-friendly tips include staying at a hotel that includes a free full breakfast to fuel up before going to the park each morning (just be sure breakfast is served early enough to make it to the park for rope drop), shop Costco nearby before your first day in the park for snacks to take into the park or keep in your hotel, and leave the park for an early dinner to avoid crowds both in the park and at nearby restaurants. Then return later in the evening for more fun…and enjoy the snacks on this list! 🤗
Will be visiting for the first time soon and I have been binging your video's. They are not only fun but super helpfull too! I was wondering, I love sending postcards, does Disneyland have postcards in their shops? Thanks again for all the amazing video's!
Thanks so much for the videos! You always have such great tips and are so enjoyable to watch with your family :) !! I have a video recommendation: could you talk about Advanced Dining Reservations a bit more. I have heard mixed info about them going live at 12AM Pacific, 3AM Pacific and 6AM Pacific. And how do you recommend navigating them when you want to do multiple things on one day. For example, I want to schedule my daughter for BBB the same day that my son would build his own droid. Which should I prioritize first? Thanks very much!!
I am curious to try the house beignet but I think I’m going to get the Mickey shape ones, I really love the garlic cheesy pretzel bread and the cream cheese pretzel 🥨 😋I want to get that big Mickey cookie 🍪
Hi Traver, first thank you for this video and second could you do a video on meals for an entire day? Meaning if you were on a budget but wanted to get breakfast, lunch and dinner for a family of 4, what are your best budget recommendations where you get the most value and do a sample 1 day menu? Thanks for reading my comment! 😊
I am planning on doing a video on the cost of a Disneyland vacation coming up soon and could probably work that into the video as a rundown of daily costs.
They’d actually make really good milk dunking cookies. Because of the crispiness. Then suck the milk up through the cookie and with the coated chocolate it’s heavenly. We do that with an Australian cookie that does exist here now, Tim Tams.
my top 3 cheap snacks are: 1. Large mickey cookie (pineapple or churro flavor) 2. Regular churro 3. Grey stuff (it's so good) Nice video!! Thank you for sharing, I never knew about the spicy pickle 😮 gotta get that next time for sure!
Traver, great video. Where did you get the corn on the cob from? Little Red Wagon? Also, do you let them know you want butter & the chili lime? I didn’t hear a price on the cost of the Garlic Pizza Bread. Do you have that? Where you saud "Pizza" does that mean it has marinara on it?
Corn on the Cob was from Ship to Shore, along with the pickle as mentioned in the video. You have the choice between Buttered or Chili Lime. They are two separate offerings. I don't think you can get it with both as they're pre-made and pre-wrapped. I'm also not positive on prices off the top of my head. Prices are listed on screen in the video for every item. And the item is a Garlic Cheesy PRETZEL Bread, not Pizza. It tastes a lot like a standard soft pretzel, but with the consistency of bread. It's really good and I highly recommend it!
I haven't tried the cheesy garlic pretzel yet. It looks so good. And I'm not a pretzel girl. There are a few others I haven't tried. I need to start a list.
I did one a year ago. Most, if not all, of the food in the video is still available. 10 BEST Plant-Based & Vegan Foods at Disneyland EVERYONE Should Try (even non-vegans) th-cam.com/video/TQFizdBTUwM/w-d-xo.html
In your “13 Things I Will Never Do at Disneyland Ever Again” video at 17:23 someone is pushing one of those wagon strollers. It was my understanding that wagons are not allowed. Are the stroller wagons accepted? Heading in May and would love to know!
Did I just mention it as a possible idea for the future? Because I don't think we've done one yet. But I know this video had half of the snacks as being larger, splittable snacks. And that's the only video I can recall us talking about larger snacks that can be shared amongst multiple people.
@@bragginsadventures I might have just been referring to the fact that we split the video into two sections. Section 1 (the first five snacks) being the absolute dirt cheapest, and the section 2 (the last five snacks) being the cheapest of the shareable snacks. While they aren’t the most afforadable snacks overall being that some are $8-$9 (there are dozens upon dozens of snacks cheaper than this), when you factor in they can be enjoyed be 2-4 people, they are definitely more cost effective.
I keep forgetting about the mint julep. I could have used that one today as I was looking for a refreshing drink. Ended up just going with water. This video was filmed a little over a week ago, so not talking about in this video. It was fairly warm today around 67 degrees.
@SoCalDisneyDad I saw your review of the violet pretzel and was so looking forward to trying it, but when I went in September, they replaced it with the Halloween treats 😔
@@pandora576 I know, I was bummed when they got rid of the D100 stuff early. I thought it would last a year, but I guess Halloween/Christmas took priority.
Indeed it is! Which is why we often split snacks. I struggle with this at WDW though. I feel like they have more things I specifically like, like the chocolate mint cheesecake that I don’t want to share. 🤣
@craigwatson8160 0 seconds ago I would also like to add that we love that you are critical of Disney where it’s necessary . I feel like some vloggers won’t blast Disney. Seems like they don’t want to lose any perks Disney gives them. I could be wrong. But you seem to tell it like you see
That might be true of the larger vloggers that have openly stated “Disney provided this complimentary cruise for us” etc. but I’d bet most under 100k aren’t getting any special treatment. It might be a fear of never getting those invites that holds them back. I don’t know. I do know, however, that Provost Park Pass is critical where it’s needed and he usually gets invited to all the big stuff. So I think Disney cares about criticism less than people think. Criticism encourages growth. Be it a person or a company. We don’t know how to improve if we don’t know where we are going wrong. Any company worth its salt values a single criticism over a dozen praises. The trouble is most Disney complainers are unreasonable with their complaints. I’m actually thinking about doing a video that specifically looks at 1-Star reviews of Disneyland and either confirming or refuting the complaint. Kind of like a Mythbusters sort of scenario.
