The deftones are truly the only rock band that has real melodies that I’ve ever consistently wanted to listen to. Are they’re one of the few that I still listen to today that I loved since even before starting high school wow. Lol long live the deftones ❤️💯

Sounds like Frank is just playing a pad under the guitar chords to give it more atmosphere. He does this often, especially on the White Pony/Ohms albums. The drums are programmed loops and the occasional loud drum fill sample is a steel drum/timbale/or metal snare with the wires off being smacked with rimshots. Very cool sound.

The guy can sing he just needs to rest his voice. These guys tour so much, abuse their bodies with booze and drugs. Plus he wrecked his vocal chords during the white pony days. It’s not the kind of music that’s kind on vocal chords. He would have to change genre but I’m glad you’re done with them. Don’t need fake fans taking up space at the concert who spend most of the time not even paying any attention to the show.
