I know I'm very late to this conversation, but I solved the shield vs arm problem. I might make rounds to other reviews to make this comment. There is no other way to approach the problem other than popping some parts off and then back on again. I do not advise the "Boil & Pop" water method considering the size of this figure vs safety. Heat the arm up with a Hair Dryer on high heat for a "minute" until the arm feels rubbery. Next, grip the elbow works and forearm parts tightly, being careful not to accidentally pull it apart when you~SLOWLY~ pull the (green) glove/hand away from the (white) forearm. Reheat longer if it seems to resist popping off. Take your time and protect your fingers from heat. Don't use clamps; they may leave marks. You only need a few seconds to separate these parts IF they are warm enough. Once apart, you can slip the arm into the shield strap and pop the glove back on the arm. This re-assembly step is easier if the "female" parts are warmer than the "male" parts. You have to take the hand off (heat up if necessary) and then back on for the other shield strap. The straps will be on the bicep and wrist when finished. Please take care with the hair dryer and hot parts.

Thanks for the video Geek. The fun of opening a much anticipated action figure is what drives our community. When a company owns a major IP and that company deflates the excitement, there are consequences. Consequences such as a collector seeking the excitement elsewhere. Now I wish Marvel Select would make a Super-Adaptoid.

Ok! Just canceled my order! You not the first person to mention the shield. No wings, shield not retooled for him....this is classic bare minimum hasbro. Sad to say but u right. Had my entertainment earth account pulled up and soon as u said naw 😂 i canceled his ass lol. That 70 bucks can go towards more dope third party stuff. Also i get it. Super7 silverhawks monstar is making his rounds and hes so gorgeous...but he cant do much articulation wise and some other issues. Waited like u watching that trackin number😅 . Also u not bitchin man. We pay good money for this stuff. Ive seen channels where ppl love stuff then tell u not to buy bc it was 8 dollars more. Least you give legit reasons!
Man, that's why I stopped at Thundercats with Super 7. I loved the look, but when I got them in hand, I was disappointed in the 1999 style articulation. Now I love my Thundercats, but they definitely kept me from ordering the SilverHawks, plus I want my Hawks shiny LOL
@@GeekHangOver yes!!! the tmnt line is dope from super 7 that slash is on my top ten for this year...but man I cant say ill be hitting super 7 up much after lol. Ive ordered 2 of that furay planet line ( the rabbit and tiger samurai ) and i got that loose collector Mr. hyde figure on the way atm. also Silverhawk's should ALWAYS be shinning and silver. super 7 is more like grey hawks lol
He has every right to voice his grievances with this mess. I think someone at Hasbro is operating on petty at this point
This figure is one hell of a half-assed mess. The original 12 inch Captain America is better than this. And by the way, they only made 12 of the 12 inch figures. Which they probably didn't make more of because of how they barely sold. And not one villain among that line either
I own all 12 (I Ebayed the hell out of them, LOL) just haven't opened them yet. I agree, they really dropped the ball on this one.
@@GeekHangOver I have 9 of the 12. And bought them when they came out. Captain America is the cheapest out of the 9 I have because of Best Buy having a sale on him. Paid 34.99 for him.
I saw most of them on clearance and didn't bite because I wasn't collecting at the time, boy if I had a time machine
Too expensive and 📞 in. I don't think anyone was this desperate for a character like Super Adaptoid.
