Easter Egg with Lace / Ou de Paste cu dantela - Home decoration

In every tutorial I make for you, I try to come up with new ideas and materials. Nothing is impossible when you let your imagination fly. This time my egg is made with lace otherwise nothing complicated. After the lace is glued and fixed very well, like any ornament, it's your choice how you want to decorate it chromatically.

Materials used:
polystyrene egg
-ceramic support, for which you have a tutorial here • Cum să iți faci o matr...
-lace
-flexible molding paste, which you can replace with a primer pasta
-black gesso
-acrylic gel , blue antiques
-golden metallic wax
-lead tape, Decraled
-solvent-based, satin and transparent varnishes

Great job! I have a question- what type of varnishes do you use please? Are they different? and how did you prepare the egg? Did you use a special primer first? -- Thank you

Thank you. For finish solvent varnish, darwi, satine and clear. You can use home gesso. 🤗❤

Yes, but you can let the wax dry well, and than you can use that varnish.

Why did you use a heavy black gesso and not just black acrylic instead?

You can use what you have, but i recomand for lace or fabric, gesso.
