That happens bc this version is "overproduced". Don't make me wrong, i love this remix even more than the original but the original track is pure bachata and this remix has some other elements that makes it more "epic". Love both versions but i rather this one
Even without the extra stuff this version sounds cleaner, crisper, and like it was produced by someone who knows how to produce bachata records, which the original does not.

Good Job man! But check the Guitar when The Weekend starts his vers (01:41). It starts too early. It takes a lot of energy out because it overwrites the break. The break at 02:10 sounds amazing though! As a dancer you want the break to be clear.

The Dj at the social could have cropped the intro when he played it. If he didn't it's cause he didn't want to.
Also, as a dancer, I will simply say that because the 'bachata' part hasn't started yet, doesn't mean that the dance hasn't started yet. If you don't know what to do during this or any other down time, it's never too late to learn :)

its good very good.... but its like the other commercial bachatas remixes out there,, no any difference. The darkness and the power of the original song is out of this galaxy. Also, its already a bachata.... bachata remix on a bachata song... its the first time it happens.
