But what I cannot understand is and I hope Kumar or someone else can explain to me with some sincere conviction and sparing a thought towards others and the condition in the world today.. why is it imperative that the wedding take place in December in the midst of a pandemic. I know SL culture follows auspicious times and dates. However I know Amrita talks about women rights and helping people and being a caring person about others.. yet these two have a wedding inviting friends and relatives during a pandemic.. it’s all good being a good person in front of a camera.. but isn’t this a self serving event.. and shows that talk is cheap and actions speak louder than words? I’m confused...👍
hi actually they've been planning to get the wedding in last April but it got cancelled bcz of the pandemic and once again in August bt due to to lockdown it got cancelled again and they had the plan to have it in October but still the rules were quit strict so they thought of getting this done in December without pushing it into 2021 and with the days they had under their availability they actually did put it onto 31st of December. From Amritaas side only 50 people were invited to the wedding and the others were almost from Evans side bt still not the wedding they had in their mind for all the years (over 8 years). the ones who got invited to the wedding were not invited to their homecoming as they have to balance all their loved ones. the wedding was beautiful bt it went under the covid rules as per can. thanks ☺️
@@sarasipanditharatne2266 I thank you for the explanation however these 50 or 40 or even 30 people coming and gathering without masks and staying in close contact are you trying to suggest that if 50 people gather there won’t be a possibility of transmission? And only if it’s 51? Comon! sir, are you telling me just because this donkey show called the parliament says something following it is an excuse... remember New Zealand closed up the city of Auckland after they discovered 3 people that’s 3... they closed an entire city... if they waited 8 years you think waiting for the pandemic to cease would have caused an issue, how come? Would they have broken up if they didn’t get married in 2020 and pushed it to 2021. Sir, I respect that you want to defend this event but in this instance you sound as educated as Sri Lanka’s current speaker of the house? And you and I and 23 million can see what a imbecile he is right? So I still feel this was irresponsible, unnecessary and totally disregarding the safety of the couple and the people they invited... I hope you have a better educated answer next time...

Need Zealand is a controlled country and if they do even find 1 patient its time for them to close the country. but for us u cant do dat and u cant push ur life putting excuses is not the thing either. people like u stay back putting excuses which are out of the world and here u r living in New Zealand and telling me who's living in SL and giving advices to live here. U live according to New Zealand way up there but not here. I and others will go through the things according to the situation of the Sri Lanka.
